Web Pages Building Theme or Plugin For Wordpress?

Hi Folks,

I'm looking to create a tutorials-based product (Camtasia / Powerpoint) based on showing my customers how to create their own Internet marketing related web pages using Wordpress but I'm looking for a good quality theme or plug-in but something that isn't too expensive - not because I mind spending the money but because it would require my customer also needing to first buy expensive software to be able to follow along with my tutorials I want to create.

1) Sales page
2) Thank you page
3) Download page
4) Squeeze page
5) OTO page (?)
6) Etc...

For example, I have Optimize Press which I think s great... but how can I ask my customers to spend $97 to 'first' buy OP and then buy my tutorials. (It wouldn't work).

So... my questions is... can anyone recommend a good quality web page builder theme or plug-in or even software as long as I can use it in Wordpress (able to build pretty much all the above pages mentioned) that is not too expensive?

I looked at 'Product Launch Wordpress Theme' from Cheap Marketing Tools (for $47) which seems to allow you to build not just product launch related pages. Anyone use this?

I've been a brief member of Lead Pages but again, I need a cheaper but yet quality product.

Any recommendations?

Thanks folks!

p.s. - I thought of getting a designer to design me some 'templates' for the above pages... but how would I be able to alter them using Wordpress. (I can't, right?)

You could always buy the developer version of Weaver Theme or Catalyst Theme or Headway Theme and build a model site for your customers that they can download as a child theme.

      Hi Rob!

Interesting... HHmmm... I'll have to have a peek at that to see if it could work.

You can affiliate for these themes, and offer a discount for your video course to those who show proof of purchase.

You can just get your own custom theme designed (hire a freelancer) and offer that as part of your package.

          Thanks Jill!

Thanks Jill for the idea. Have to think about that a bit. HHmmm...

PageLines is probably too expensive for you...but I'll use it as an example. Become an affiliate for PageLines and pass the discount on to your clients. Just a thought...a way to keep any program cost less expensive for your clients.

I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!

Have you thought about WPMU DEV? Not totally a "build it" plugin/theme but they have 24/7 support and customizable themes/plugins which helps inform that DIY mindset. They also start at $19 but for the right sale you can occasionally pop purchases up to 200+, so it's a decent hook into what you're doing.

Why do your viewers have to purchase the theme you are using?

Can't you just suggest a few themes and leave it up to them which one to buy?

If you mean, you want them to have the same theme used in the tutorials to follow along, why not use a free theme rather than a paid one?

If your tutorials are only good for one theme (of the thousands available), and that theme costs $97, doesn't that severely limit your potential buyers?

Many people want "free" things. People always ask for "the best free theme".

Paid themes usually have decent tutorials and you can find lots of stuff on YouTube. Just search YouTube for "create a sales funnel with optimizepress".

Maybe teach how to easily create all those pages using the default 2020 Theme. This is very easy to do once you know how and a video course teaching how to make quality sales funnels using default and free themes would likely be popular.

If I buy Optimized Press and go through their tutorials, why would I pay a premium to you for more tutorials?

What does your course offer that the premium theme support tutorials and YouTube do not?

    Hello Jeff,

I know you want a plugin that's cheap for your customers, but I highly
suggest to pick a theme that offers high quality.

I personally use Optimize Press because it works fantastic. I know it costs
$97 but if you have a license yourself, customers can buy a license through
your affiliate link and that way you can give them 50% back. So instead
of $97, your customers are paying around $48,50 for Optimize Press. Check
    this link for more information.

Currently I'm doing something similar like you, but I'm also using S2member as
a membership plugin. They offer a free version so it might be useful for your
    customers also .
