Hope not!!

Anyway, I called Paypal and they will look into it, in the meantime seems like when you click the donate button the Paypal page does not exist but they have a paypal email you can send money to.

Hopefully Paypal will shut this down ASAP!!

I am not an expert but won't it be a better scam if they were pretending to collect for victims or something!

I mean who in their right mind would want to send even a penny to free some criminals who killed 3 people and wanted to kill lot more.

It might be an opportunistic scammer, or it might be one of the hundreds of groupies that actually believe he's innocent (just because he's "cute"). Either way, it's disgusting.

I doubt it , but in Russia ( former republic ) they don't know much of whats going on. They will tell lies and they will believe it, meanwhile the parents will just sit back and collect the money . The PayPal link is valid and does work.

yea paypal needs to handle that, although to give them benefit of the doubt you can't control where someone is posting up donate buttons in every dark corner of the internet, but now that they have been notified by the above member it should be taken down.

I would certainly avoid being one of the donors..I'm pretty sure it could be turned into something like financing terorism and you end up on a black list or something...why help those guys anyway?
