Well first what is your plan for the articles? How are you planning on using them?

Well I am thinking of posting these articles on my blog or on squidoo. What is your opinion FraggleJ78 ?

My blog gets about 1-2 google organic traffic a day with only 5 posts. I think I can boost the traffic if I make this movement.

If I were going to spend that kind of money for articles
it would be to focus on one very specific niche and to
help brand me as THE expert in that sub-niche of
    internet marketing.

I'd also have the resource box in those articles lead
readers into a very specific funnel.

You're talking $15 per article. I certainly consider
high quality articles worth that much... and more, but
they need to be part of a bigger plan.

Each one of the article will lead to my squeeze page where I have an ebook for gift and follow up messages for teaching how to make money online by selling info-products. Of course I am building trust in the first place!

Great advice here - think SUB-niche and make sure those articles are very tightly focused. There is no guarantee that 30 articles, even if great will draw you any more traffic, especially if they are just a bunch of generic info on IM, there's a plethora of it out there already and you'll just get lost in the noise.

But if you can find something in the IM niche that not a lot of people are talking about, or put a different spin on something, etc... you could do well with 30 articles... the problem is figuring out what that is and then directing writers to communicate it efficiently.

At a $15 a pop, such an article won't be high-quality. Sure, they'll be better than those $5 you get on Fiverr, but a good writer charges at least $0.03 per word these days (in general), and that gives you an article of 500 words in length for that price. If you ask me, that's too little space to convey a point.

If I were you, I would focus on getting fewer articles, but better and longer.

Just a question: since you're in the MMO niche, which I hear is very competitive, how are you going to generate traffic? SEO?

Good content alone doesn’t make miracles. You will have to do many other things to get traffic.

    Zourkas......

Buddy, there's much better things to do with your $450 then getting 30 IM articles.

First of all, why are you targeting that niche? There's money there, of course, but it is also highly competitive (with both newbies and gurus battling it out).

$450 could get you hosting and an autoresponder for a whole year (if you don't have that already).

You could use to pay someone to create a graphic or software product that you can sell in a variety of ways.

There's so much you could do. I would definitely research better ideas.

I think you're intended about MMO niche. If you're good at it and have your special methods to make money online to share with your visitors, it's always having room for the new coming in every niches.

If your're in MMO niche, I think you should give your valuable readers with care and the true tactics of yours with your own words. Readers in MMO niche are not that easy to convey because they're seeking money. But, if you care enough to make personal interaction with them they are the gem and easy to convert.

For my experience of MMO niche, it should be at least $0.05/word to get a good quality article because mostly the writers themselves don't know how to MMO. If they knew, they would keep their writing and tactics for themselves.

I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!

I wouldn't waste it trying to direct traffic to a squeeze page. Article marketing in my opinion is great for SEO but doesn't do much for traffic unless it's a REALLY good article were people are itching to click the links to your site.

If your any good at PPC then I would head down that road.

Still need hard work to syndicate your content. Just buying articles can't bring you steady traffic.

I agree with others. at $15/article, thay are just going to be summaries of top 10 results+wikipedia of whatever keyword you are giving them.

there's a 99% chance the articles will not be good copy that's going to convert.

you are looking for a return on that $450 investment correct?

Yes I would invest $450 for 15 articles. In fact, I did already several times. Make sure it's quality articles though and don't post them all at once. Drip feed them over a period of 1-2 months.
