Having a good game plan
- Finances - Do you have enough money to grow your businesses and projects in a steady and relatively rapid way? Like in any business, streamlining your expenses without being 'cheap' is something that requires a fine balance.
- Stick to your plan - information overload and distractions are the bane of online entrepreneurs. I you have a plan of attack, then stick to it.
- Number of projects - This is partly tied in with your finances. Keep the number of projects manageable, you don't want to spread your concentration, time and finances too thinly. It's better to give 100% to one or two projects, than to halfheartedly try and execute multiple projects at the same time.
- Time table - Setting yourself a demanding, yet realistic time table is very important. You don't really need a whole year to complete your project do you?
- Milestones - It's vitally important to set realistic milestones, it keeps you accountable and will help you to keep to your time table. If your milestone is to be earning $3000 in two months time, then try your level best to make it happen.
- Rinse & repeat - Once you find a process that works well for you, build up on it and replicate. Your business should always be growing along with your profits. If the bank balance is shrinking then you need to take a closer look at the affecting factors.
