Paypal refunding - how do you get this done?

Hi guys,

I need to issue a couple of paypal refunds. I was wondering if there is any other way to do this besides "Sending money" to these customers?

I mean I thought there would be a simple "Refund" button, believe there used to be, so maybe stuff has changed and I just cant find it.

How do you refund in paypal in your case so the record is there that it was a direct refund to a direct purchase? I'm interested in the record as well as convient way to refund. Cheers

Any help would be appreciated.

    Look up the specific transaction, and at the very bottom of the page, you'll see "Issue Refund".

    If you click on the details of the transaction, there is a refund link at the very bottom, easy to miss. Just click there follow the prompts.

    Thanks for the response. But that's what got me stumped.

    I followed those same steps already and no sign of the "Issue Refund" button.

    Here's what I see at the bottom (that is, after the customer's details).. no refund button.

    This is what I see at the bottom of one of mine:

    Refund:
    You can issue a refund for up to 60 days after the original payment was sent. PayPal refunds the payment and fees, including partial fees for partial refunds.
