If you are serious about IM / list building do not use it. Get your own hosting and domain and build a squeeze page there.

Yeah agree with Rockinglastforever. Optimizepress yourself and join the religion

Optimizepress is fine for building squeeze and sales pages but a fairly terrible theme if you want to also have a blog on the same domain, they have the feature to add a blog but it looks bad.

I prefer to go with a premium WP theme like Genesis Generate for my blog then use a plugin to create landing / opt in pages, there's options like paper template, Lead Rocket and more.

I'm sure it's fine if you're just getting started but my advice is to create your own.

It's very easy to accomplish; you can get it done with notepad ++, an optin form, and a simple headline created with Microsoft office if you have to.

Hosting and domain doesn't cost more than $19, getting a squeeze page won't cost you much as well if you find cheap developers.... Perhaps you can draw a budget, if you have a good squeeze page you will recover your cost in no time..

My problem is, if i had OptimizePress i can't then get paid traffic to my website. so i'm looking for something at low budget to create a squeeze page and get paid traffic for my squeeze page then when i got money i can buy OptimizePress

      Regards,
      Oliver.

Never mind that, hardly anyone is going to opt into a squeeze page hosted on someone elses domain.

You don't have to spend $90 on optimizepress there are other cheaper options like paper template and lead rocket which I prefer for most sites anyway as you can use them in conjunction with a WP theme where as Optimizepress IS the theme. It's great if all you need is a squeeze and a sales page but less good if you plan to have a blog and other pages on the site.

I've used it before and actually got fairly good opt-in rates (or what I thought were good ones - 30%). But I've sinced learned to treat this like a business and believe me, you don't want one of your most precious assets to be in someone elses control, not to mention that its rookie.

90 second squeeze page works pretty good. You can cloak the link too so no one knows what it is hosted on. The only bad thing is all the pages look a like with it.

Indeed, altough I'm a firm believe that less is more in the case of squeeze page. Almost zero design has always worked and converted the best for me. It's all about the headlines

I used it a couple of times and it is really easy to use but doesn't look the greatest. I have found that while it's free to use you may make more money just paying for something better like optimize press. I will always use optimizepress now just because of it's quality. It's the best thing out there that you will find so I suggest just spending the little bit of extra money because in the end it will be better.
