How can I increase my blog conversion rate.

Hey there, I've successfully ranked 2nd for my review blog for a weight loss clickbank product. The keyword got around 20k exact search per month and I got around 200-300 visitors per day.

The problem is I still can't achieve my blog estimated revenue.
With 20k exact searches per month so I thought assuming for every 100 vistors per day then I should have around 200 sales per month. Half that figure should be more than enough.

For now, I can only manage 1 sales per day or so, still the figure is not that consistent either. My order form sales conversion is around 7.98% for now.

I haven't set up any mailing list or what, just a simple review sites with about 5 post and a few pages.

So, what should I do to achieve my target sales and turn all the visitors into buyers. I hope someone can point me the hints. Pretty please?

If you were sending people directly to your sales page, with 200-300 people per day, a decent salespage would be converting at around 2% and would therefore make you 4-6 sales. The reality is though you are sending people to a blog and then hoping they are going to click through to the salespage. So all of those people are not visiting the salespage.

Have you measured each step of the process to find out where the leak is? Out of those 200-300 people visiting your blog, how many of them are actually clicking through and viewing the salespage? If it's anything less then about 100 people clicking through to the salespage then 1 sale is about average and what you should be expecting.

If you want to make more sales then you need more people hitting your blog each day and you need more of those people clicking through and landing on the salespage.

This one is more descriptive and good approach to judge your site.

Maybe you need to change landing page for improving conversion rate.

200 - 300 visitors/day is very good, the CR should be at least 1%. Mean that you must make sales at least 20 copies per day from the Google.

I tried to make the blog look more personal, supporting the trust of my readers. I assumed the less complicated and graphic loaded blog will give me the "good guy" class.

By saying improving the landing page, how do you suggest I do that?

I've tried optimizing the click rate and well, it doesn't much help. Maybe the visitors are searching for the actual vendor's site or my review is quite lengthy. What do you suggest? How do i do this?

So let's take Jun 02 for example.

Out of 361 visits to your blog, only 75 people clicked on a link to the salespage?

To get 1 sale from 75 people is very normal.

As expected the big leak here is the number of people clicking through to the salespage from your blog. You need to increase that and get more people seeing the salespage. If you could double that number you could double the amount of sales you are making each day.

Have you tried some type of exit pop offer?

Also what do your links that people are to click on actually say? Do they have a benefit in them?

That's sorta confusing for me, I didn't really expect such a leak. I used the product name itself as the anchor keyword.

How do I do that Will? I tried using clickable text link for the first paragraph of my review like "This is a product name review , Click Here To Visit Product Name Official Site"

Then I'll use a call to action button at the end of my review, a "Download Now" button. I also included a banner ad on my sidebar and a few post else with a call to action anchor text as "Click Here To Change Your Life Today"

By saying pop up exit, do I use any plugin with that? Should I offer some bonuses or something along the line? What kind of benefit do you mean Will?

20k exact search? wow! that's a lot. I'm pretty sure if you get 200-300 targeted visitors a day, you should get at least 2-3 sales. I used to rank 1st position for a review of a clickbank product (1000 exact search a month)

    I got nearly 1 sale a day.

It got about 18k exact match searches for US only. That's why it's a pretty big deal for me. I recently got ranked for an exact match of 5,400 product name keyword. A very low competition product at that. I'm quite lucky.

But still, I can't achieve my target sale expecting 1 buyer per 100 visitors.
I need to work more on this click rate through thing. Anymore ideas guy? Help this poor fella will you? Btw, I'm 19 so I'm d little guy.

This is a very steep target for a review site.
Typically, you have 150 people come in, some percentage of that click to your sales page, and that page is converting at 1-2%. So, you're rarely going to get 1% of total visitors to buy.

It is a bit difficult to say withot seeing what the prospects will be seeing but i have a blog that had the same problem and i realised that most of the veiwers dont even read all of the content and most still dont know what to do so you have to gently pursuade the prospects into getting your product!

I used pop-ups and they made a slight difference!
Get involved with the audience, it could be the brand, it could be the customer care, it can be the content or the colors!! but you will get there!

This is where you are going wrong. When your Google ranking slips (which it will no doubt) and suddenly you're not getting as much traffic as you used to you will wish you built a list so you could continue to get in touch with that previous traffic and promote your product to them over and over again as well as some other similar products.

Stop wasting time and build a list now. You will be glad you did later.

You MUST start capturing these people's email addresses, that is priority number 1. Once they're on your list you can promote to them over and over again.

i think you should also take a closer look at the target site, what is the conversion rate of that site, that might make a lot of different

You should offer a freebie on the side of your reviews, and entice people to sign up to your email list. You can easily increase conversions and sales from the people who dont buy initially from your product review. And consider putting a hover ad on your blog to get people to sign up to your newsletter this way too. This can boost conversions.
