Where to start? Write what you know about the topic you are intending to write about.

Biggest problem? Knowing enough about your subject to teach others.

First of all, you have to choose what product to create. I think you want to create a product that sells, right?
Well, so you should start first of all with keyword research. Start from an idea and make some serious keyword research to know if that market is profitable or not. Read around this forum on how to make keywor research. Good luck

Yes start with keyword research, find something you know sells very well. You don't have to be an expert to do make your first product and it won't be the best you've ever made but it will be a start. Make sure you're honest and gather as much information you can before putting it on the market.

Ditch the keyword research. I assume you want to sell a product, not a website.

    Pick a market with buyers
    Narrow down your focus
    Research the problems
    Pick one problem
    focus in on that problem
    research problem
    solve problem
    Rinse and repeat

    Places to research:
    Magazines
    books
    forums
    affiliate marketplaces
    social networks
    etc etc etc

    Be creative.

We created our own product based on something we know a lot about, which is automotive paint. It's our main real world job. So we created a biz selling DIY kits online across Canada, and it's working well.

Figure out what you know a lot about and could sell to someone. Research it inside out and make sure it's viable before you dump a bunch of money into it. You have to do a lot of thinking and planning.

I would start with a passion, or something you like to talk and give advice about!

Make it a habit to create some content everyday for lets say six months, after six months you would have a lot of content to talk about and maybe you could be selling that already

But make sure you like/love the topic you are talking about, because you are going to have to deal with it everyday

what i did,was i put an ad on gumtree for a local fitness instructor to work with me on a 50/50 basis.i got quite a few replies but one was more local than others.
we got the books wrote etc. i'm good with photoshop etc so was able to design covers and various other things needed.
she also has a studio and i have a decent camera and tripod so we filmed a few 5 minute routines which will be ready for a dvd once i finally get around to editing it.

all in all this way kept costs down to a minimum.

i found this was the best way to get my first product done.

Select a product that you are interested in and have good knowledge of. Research the product and provide good useful information for the buyers.

Yes create a product around something that you already know a lot of information about or something your interested in learning about. Just keep in mind that the better the content and the more you enjoy creating the product the better it will sell and the more people will enjoy learning from it.
