A Big Opportunity ! Amazon open New shop in India, How do Indian Warrior take advantage

I have come to know that Amazon has open its online store in India.

As an Indian Warrior I wanted to know that how can we take advantage from this opportunity. Do you think it is the best time to focus on Amazon India or we does not have range of customer like US in India.

What is your opinion.

It may not be as big in India right now, but it never hurts to jump in on the ground floor especially when it's being backed by a huge company

As they have no associate/affiliate program for amazon.in there is no "big opportunity"

I also Think So, Because It Will Take Some Time to Get Fully Accessible in Indian Market.

Yes this is my line of thinking. If I start today than I have good chances to earn good income from Amazon Associates.

I do not think they does not provide affiliate program. They have just opened up, It takes some time to create rules for Indian Amazon associates.

If that is the case, care to show us where the affiliate/associate program is?

It's got to be a huge market, I'm not sure how it will work but it has got to be the nearest Amazon market to the increasingly affluent South East Asian market as well. The website is also written in English which is a plus in my books. As an expat living in Thailand I will get the grey cells working to how I can use this to my advantage.

Wow, that's good news indeed. If we see signs of people buying from amazon (and this must be a possibility, or Amazon would not bother with opening an Indian store), then we can bank hard because the Indian market has virtually no competition as of now. Let's see how it goes.

Oh, and if Indian books become famous on kindle, then that would be another great avenue to make money too. I'm excited!

Anyone have any ideas how those of us outside of India can sign up for an Amazon India Associate account? It seems to restrict payees to Indian residents only? Any way round this?

Awesome market opportunities. Kindle has already setup a separate tab for kdp India as of this month. As far as I know, Australia is next on Amazon's list
