Ok outsorcing has taken over my mind.

It's just now I had a conversation with someone about otusourcing, and as I replied, this word took a very strong hold of my thoughts, and I just can't stop thinking I need to outsource a few things.

So the question is where will I outsorce, where is the absolute best places to find people who have the desire to do what my mind is finding difficult to focus on?

I've heard of several kinds. The book the Four Hour Workweek talks about outsourcing all sorts of personal and professional tasks through Brickwork India or through YourManInIndia or Elance. P (theres actually about 6 more on page 135 at the end of chapter 8). (sorry I cant post the links yet or I would)

Is that what you were thinking about? If not I hope it helps someone out there

The Warriors For Hire section here has a wide selection of people specialising in different areas - would be worth taking a flick through that forum

What do you need outsourced? Of course there's the warrior forum, you'll probably find someone if you looked.

there's rentacoder, digitalpoint forums, elance, guru, that's all I know off the top of my head.

From my experience the best route to take is to hire a virtual assistant, generally these people are able to handle multiple tasks and are knowledgeable with internet marketing. Not to mention that you get a chance to develop an actual relationship with them and you won't have to hold their hand and walk them through everything because after a few months they'll immediately know what is that you want and don't want.

Ok I think a virtual assistant might be something I would like to invest in. One that can take care of my needs as they arise, for example one I now need is to format my ebook, and to write a disclaimer for it.

The multi taks virtual assistant sound just about right, I'm not rich but whatever I know I can spare is waht i will find agreement on with my VA.

The warriors for hire is a great place to start. If you're going to outsource most/all of your work, be sure to place strict systems to keep track.

This is a very good idea, what other options are there for me to do this? A help desk?

If you have enough to spare on outsourcing then by all means get it outsourced. What do you intend to outsource anyway? Articles?SEO?

I intend to outsource all the tedious bits and peices that are so tedious I end up not doing them, and they hold me back.

I found someone already, seems like I'll start my outsorcing adventure, this month forward. Still in awe that this word didn't click with me until today.

There are a lot of websites out there. I know elance is good but also a cheaper way to go is Sciptlance

I find it much more affordable and have found good contacts there.

Outsourcing is KEY. If its tedious tasks you dread doing yourself, I suggest scriptlance.com or getafreelancer.com, but if it's for "Quality" (ex: product creation), go with elance.com or guru.com. maybe even rentacoder.

If you can afford it, outsource repetitive tasks like article writing, directory submission and the like.Once you free yourself from the time consuming tasks, you can focus more on the important items in running your online business. Also, you may want to break down down the tasks into smaller tasks so that your outsourcing guy wouldn't be clobbered up with too many tasks.

when outsourcing and depending upon what is done, give them step by step instructions of what needs to be done and how it needs to be done. If possible, make a video and send it to the outsourcer.

I have used outsourcing and found that sometimes it takes more time than if I done it myself.

It has now been nearly 3 weeks since I gave a project for 2 mini-sites to be done. The guy doing them had excellent reviews but I found out later that he also works full time in a ...
well a non-related job - and he has a que of work to get through!

Now I just seen one of the mini-sites and its gonna need quite a few changes. How long is that gonna take ? And when is the other gonna come ?

Maybe the problem is in setting it up? Maybe once you have a couple of people ready to do the work that you have a relationship with then perhaps it will be better.

Article writing can be just as frustrating. A week ago I decided to outsource that. Again I hit the "sorry - I'll be making a start on yours soon"

I have decided to sit down and start writing myself.

Thats my take on OS at present.

When you outsource, you need to have process that you can give to your VAs, otherwise, you will work a LOT too.

So make sure to get these process map for your outsourcers right from the start.

    All the best,

    Franck
