My back is HARD up against the wall...

Hi Warrior Forum,

I am 19 years old - have been a lurker of these forums for probably a year now and really only started taking action with internet marketing earlier this year. Recently also became a war room member because I knew it was a worthwhile investment. I have probably invested about $1500 into IM so far and have clearly thrown my money in the wrong directions as I have only made returns of around $300. Mainly spending money on advertising and WSO's etc. with my main marketing efforts on clickbank products.

I have negative $'s to my name. I am in-between jobs and am about one month away from literally having maxed out my loan. I live overseas from my parents who are in no position to help me out financially.

My back is right up against the wall now and I need to start making some money FAST. I am thinking of taking on some offline marketing approaches to get some decent money in the bank . I am in a position where I'm willing to buy maybe another 1-2 WSO's related to offline marketing that any of you may be able to recommend that you honestly believe will be able to bring me an income if the steps are applied correctly. Considering the situation please only provide links/details to something that is a SUPERIOR Quality product.
I have quite alot of sales, cold calling, and retail experience so I think that I will be able to kill it in offline marketing I just have not tried or studied any offline marketing WSO's etc.

So Warrior Forum, in this desperate time of need what are your suggestions?
Also, I am aware of writing articles etc. for a few dollars but living inner city in Melbourne AUS, I don't think that this will pay enough to cover my rent.

I thank you all so much in advance for reading this post and the replies you may be able to give me. If I am not active on the forums next month you know I couldn't afford my internet :p

God Bless,
addyonline

Do what you've mentioned. "Article writing" Yes, it'll be slow at first but, it's money coming in fast and it gives you something.

Offering a service is the most quickest way to producing an income.

You say it won't bring you enough in, however if you can start building up your business, then you can hire more staff to take more business on. You aint going to find a quick revenue stream without some hardwork.

However you can quickly turn a service into a good business with a bit of elbow grease!

    Regards,

    Lee

    This thread might help http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ight=desperate

The fastest way to make money is to sell something on eBay. You can offer a service but it takes time to market that service and secure clients. It is not as fast as you might think. Read through the thread above and you will definitely find something to do to earn some quick cash.

I agree with this. Chances are you already have all the info you need to start making money so focus on that. Don't spend money on anything else that won't give you a guaranteed return. This forum has a plethora of great information that you can use, so comb through it all and you'll find something. Best of luck to you! Sometimes being up against the wall shows you what you're really made of.

*Edit* I also only have about 4 months left to start replacing my income. I have savings which will last me a good 4-6 months depending, but 4 months from now I'll be leaving my job.

The great part of what's happening to you right now, is that this moment will shape you for the rest of your life. You're about to discover what it really means to make a decision.

Why? Because you have no other choice. I have a funny thing I say to myself, to amuse myself... when things get tough, and I simply have to act.

I just tell myself, "I have no choice now. I'm free."

See, like many people, you're suffering from simply having too many options. It can be overwhelming like a cage. But you literally have no choice now. You have to pick one and make it happen.

Getting yourself to make it happen is true freedom. You already know how to do it.

    Pick it. Do it.

    Work like hell.

It's going to be great. You'll figure it out. You'll do it. Because you just will. Offline, online, it doesn't matter. There's tons of ways to make it happen.

You've got the stuff you've already proven that.

It's amazing how often this is said around here: "I have hardly any money left..which WSO should I spent it on?" Silly rabbit.

Plans. Techniques. Methods. Blueprints. These are all fantastic things to have. But they don't make money. ONLY ACTION MAKES MONEY.

Don't buy anything. This forum (and the internet as a whole) is filled with information. Pick one path and work at it with everything you have.

I think you can see the problem there. Just because it's there, doesn't mean you need to buy it. You just need more customers that are like you and to sell a product that sounds great, like the WSO's and fails to deliver, but not colossally, just enough to make you think it's not the WSO, it's YOU.
    But it's not.
    It's the WSOs.
A lot of people can teach you how to reach a negative ROI.
    That's easy.

Also, you're 19. You should be earning much more than the 1.5K you spent, in a month, on any decent job, if you have the willingness to learn on the job.

    Good luck!

Get a job outside of Internet marketing doing something you really hate. Commit to it for 90 days. No matter how much you dislike going there, do it anyway. Save up some money. Then, after the 90 days is up quit and come back to online marketing. You'll be amazed at the new perspective, drive and initiative you have thinking about that miserable job you just left. Lots of people do this but few do it deliberately. Good luck.

I suggest you stop buying any more WSO's. What you need to do now is to take action. $1500 is a lot of money to spend without any return on investment to show. What are you good at? If you can marry your skills with what people want, then you have a winner. Said mathematically, the intersection of your skill plus people's needs equals your profiting.

I'll give you just one idea and if you take action, your back will be up against some expensive sofa in some $5 million mansion very soon :0

Go to www.udemy.com and look through the courses that people have listed. I am more interested in Technology and business so those are the areas I focus on. Your mileage may vary. Look at the number of subscribers that the courses you are interested in have. Do this for both the free and paid courses. If you have knowledge of any of those courses, you could create your own and begin selling it on www.udemy.com . If you don't feel confident enough that people will be willing to buy your course, you could offer a free course and use that to build your list which you could market to later.

All you need is screen recording software like Screenr and a headset with a microphone which you could get cheaply on Ebay or Amazon. You may even have one already.

Take action on this idea and you'll be profitable soon. Let me know how it goes for you. All the best!

If your back is against the wall, I think you chose that. A few days ago you posted this:

I recently left my job to travel to the USA and I am about to finish up my trip, due to return to Australia in a few days. So I have already taken some actions that give me freedom and reduce security.

However, I have a job lined up for when I return home but I'm not sure if I should really take it as I would kill to make Internet Marketing my full time job.

        Decisions, decisions...
If you have a job lined up - take the job! If you want IM to be a full time position - you have to work to make it happen but you have to earn enough to live in the meantime.

Continuing to buy WSO products makes you a buyer - not a marketer.

I totally agree. Too many Warriors think that they are internet marketers because they buy one WSO after another. But knowledge alone doesn't make you a successful online entrepreneur.

True IMers work their butts off. Simply buying WSOs, and there are some FANTASTIC ones for sale, doesn't make you a business owner. You are just a buyer.

GOOD because now you have to stop messing around and you are
forced to do the things that need to be done to move
    forward.

I suggest you focus on only one thing and then stick to it.
Don't jump from one thing to another like most people do
because this is the reason of their failure.

Sell your services as suggested above.

TODAY, get on Fiverr, or ODesk, or ELance and get your profile setup and get moving - IM is a long-term proposition, and it's not going to get you there quickly. Make the short-term money and invest your free time in IM for future, long-term income.

    Just my thoughts.

Be smart; Don't buy another WSO in the position you are in.

Go on Craigslist, Post ads for your services in your local area. Don't be afraid to let people know in your ad that your up against a wall and willing to work hard for the money. If you can use Wordpress and can put together a simple website for local business, run ads for $149 Wordpress Web Design.

Go into the services section on Craigslist. Home Care, Lawn, Automotive, Etc. Call up some local companies, even small businesses in your area, let them know you are new to the area and looking for some work. You can do Website Design, Content Writing, Article Distribution, Etc.

Don't have Craigslist? Use any kind of local directory to find local businesses.
Take the money you were going to spend on 1-2 more WSO's and run a Warrior For Hire listing offering Article Writing or as I said before, $99-149 Wordpress Web Design and Setup with maybe some Content Writing thrown in... Give people a deal they CANT turn away and don't be afraid to tell them WHY you are willing to give so much for so little; because your back is against a wall. People love to help someone who wants to work hard to get out of a hard spot...

Good luck man, if you are really good at copy, PM me and I can throw some work your way... I know what it's like to be in your shoes, and right now, you need a friend that can bring you business.

Addy - you've got to roll up your sleeves and get to work. Doing services for others is probably the easiest way to start making dollars around these interweb parts.

Its even easier if you've got a simple service that you can offer and then go in and JUST DO IT for folks in need or that you can perceive are in need.

Collect testimonials from the ones you've helped, make those part of your promotional materials for your offer and go hit up the next prospect to pay for the service.

Easiest, easiest, easiest thing in the world to do if you just set your time to do it.

On fiverr, for me, it was making quick craigstube ads...that was making me at least $50 a day (1 gig) and then I just started selling how to stuff on there and that turned into coaching clients for bigger paydays.

If you offer a service that can be delivered digitally and people are eager to pay for it then make sure you're posting a gig on the following sites:

    1. Fiverr.com
    2.Craigslist.org
    3.Backpage.com
    4.EbayClassifieds.com
    5.ClassifiedAds.com
    6.OLX.com

They all get traffic and they all have SEO love from the Search Engines which means people can come across them one of 2 ways.

Hope that helps, and wish you the best of luck.

    Regards

    Los

I agree with everyone. Stop buying WSOs. Buying another one would not make any difference from the position you are already in right know.

First, what are you really good at? Article Writing? I have been an article writer before and I earned a decent amount. How about web design? Most of the newbies I see earn more in webdesign than in article writing.

If you want to get your funds back, you can. You just have to have that drive - this situation you are right now should be your turning point. You've already mastered the first stage - be desperate to earn. Now the second stage is the tricky one - you have to think very hard. You need techniques, strategies, A PLAN. You have to study and weigh the risk. Then take action!

    Hope this helps!

When I have had my back against the wall like you the fastest way to get cash money is to sell items on craigslist. Use the power of the internet to give you tons of stuff to sell. Here is a good example. If you go to best buy HDMI cables are anywhere from $25-$50 depending on the brand. If you go to amazon you can get these for $1 or less. I used to put them on craigslist for $20 each. That's a 2000% profit! Then I would give a deal if they bought more than one. Most people needed at least 3-5 so I would sell them for $10 each so you would get $30-$50 in one sale cost $3-$5. You can do this with tons of items on amazon and ebay then sell them locally for cash money. I know this sounds simple but I have made over $200 per day doing this. Just pick items that people need. I hope this helps some.

If you have purchased $1500 worth of products and haven't made that money back, it's not a lack of information that is stopping you from earning. It's a lack of focus. Stop buying anymore stuff and look at what you already have. Pick the most sensible business model you can find and forget the rest. Focus on just that one thing and do it until it works. You can't be prepared to turn things around overnight though as most people here who are earning good money have been working hard for years to get to that point. So a real job in the offline world might be something you need to consider whilst you get your feet back on the ground.

The solution can be solved with the following 5 step program:

    1. Get a Haircut
    2. Get a real job
    3. Work hard and rise to Management
    4. Spend all the spare time you now have as a manager working on IM
    5. Resign and sail off into the Sunset with the receptionist.

    Simple. Enough said.

I agree with most people on this thread.

    You need to get focused.

If you are willing to do this around the clock then I would say do both affiliate marketing through reviews and article marketing. Churn out at least one a day. And you may also want to look into product creation but be sure to educate yourself thoroughly before taking that task on. Russ Ruffino offered a course title Money Tree Method that might really help you.

BUT I would not advise both. True focus is sticking to one thing and mastering it. So time to pick your poison and stick it out, man.

Great topics here on the thread. I'd get an offline job, then do something online that works, then make a WSO for sale about "From Desperate To Daily Income" once you figure it all out, and become a marketer and seller.

As others have said, you don't need to buy another WSO. In fact, you're a War Room member - there's a lot of usable free content in there, and I'll let you in on a little secret: a lot of people give away their WSOs in the War Room for free, and no opt-in.

Pick an opportunity. Think of what you can do. Have that idea in your head. Now, before running out to build the new Roman Empire all by yourself, find ways to make extra cash by offering services.

Now. Here's the kicker: unless you're getting evicted tomorrow, the money you earn from your services is NOT to be used in your daily expenses. Hold onto it.

Remember that first idea you got from the War Room? Think of ways you can outsource. You pay your outsourcers with that service money.

Lather, rinse, repeat until your big idea starts to kick in.

Everyone here has already given you the boost and I'm sure you realize by now that you definitely have the power and potential to be successful...

So, I'm not going to say that.

What I am going to say is that if your back is "up against the wall," I would really suggest that you take a long hard look at getting into the "offline" arena.

If you are having trouble making money for yourself, then you shouldn't be trying to help business owners at this point.

Why? Because lots of THEM, especially at this time, have THEIR back up against a wall too. They might be living paycheck to paycheck and ALSO have to worry about loans, leases, and whatnot for their business as well as their personal life.

If you are trying to get money from businesses and promise them (whether explicitly or implicitly) "success" then you might be the reason their business goes under if they don't get that success. You might be the reason their children don't get the braces they need. You might be the reason their spouse isn't able to get treatment for a life-threatening illness. You might be the reason their child has to move school and lose their friends once they move, or why he or she gets picked on at school when they have to wear the same clothes over and over.

Remember, everyone is fighting a battle that you don't know about. I have met lots of business owners who might have seemed like they were "doing well" but in writing me a check they were taking a major leap of faith that ended up being a great investment.

However, I have also seen lots of business owners in the same position who wrote a check to someone who thought they knew what they were doing, etc.

Just remember that even a $150 one time fee might be the difference between a business going under or surviving another month...

So, moral of the story, if you are struggling to make money for yourself, think long and hard about "selling" services where you promise to make money for someone else.

Get yourself back into the war room. Look at the offline section.
Don't do things that take more than a few hours to set up or get money into your pocket. Do whatever you have to do to get money in your pocket in the next 24 hours.

Get yourself on the temp agencies lists. You'll get work fast and they pay every week. It's always worked for me. The good thing about temp agencies is that the work is for a few days or weeks so it's not the end of the world if you don't enjoy doing the job you're sent on. You get to meet a lot of different people and you can work on selling your services to bosses, managers and tell everyone you work with what you can do. It's also a great way to meet lots and lots of people.

Hey, look on the bright side - you'll come up with something. Having your back against the wall is excellent motivation to take action.

    funny thing.
A lot of people talk about how they hate article writing, but article writing is an almost sure fire way to get some online money if you stick to your guns. Everyone needs written content, and not everyone is a good writer or has the time to write. If you do you can definitely capitalize on that fact. As mentioned, put your services on fiverr, odesk, elance, craigslist. Be careful with odesk and elance though, since you have a lot of people all over the world the article writing jobs are usually priced extremely cheap there since people will do it for that much. I'm talking things like $20 for 20 500 word articles. That's kind of yucky if you ask me lol.

f you have purchased $1500 worth of products and haven't made that money back, it's not a lack of information that is stopping you from earning. It's a lack of focus. Stop buying anymore stuff and look at what you already have.
Yes, all those products couldn't be junk. It sounds like you aren't putting enough time into executing the ideas.

    Put your nose to grindstone.

Think of the money you already spent as a learning lesson...we all go through it and we only learn from mistakes what works and what doesn't. If you don't have much of a budget...you might want to start with some free marketing tools. My software below is a good example of that. Best of luck to you
