Building out a Sales Funnel?

How do you guys go about building out your auto responder messages when it comes to creating a ton of them? Do you build your list and simultaneously build it out as you go or you build it out first then test the funnel the to see what comes out the other side? I'm trying to find the most efficient way to go about doing this so far I'm thinking of building it out first but it will take quite awhile before it's completed since I'm providing value. I'm talking 27 different emails.

I think building it first would be the best. Even though it takes a lot more time once your product launches you can just sit back and watch the money flow in

I usually prepare a few emails so if I don't get a good response then I have't wasted a ton of time.

It's an affiliate link, so it won't be there long...

I agree. I usually only build what is necessary for an initial test.

Say you start with three once-per-day emails. Your plan works and you get subscribers. You can then start setting up more, one or two a day. Even if it took longer than three days to get to that point you can set up your autoresponder to send out any messages they may have missed. There will be a small gap but it won't matter.

Back in my "snail mail" days I would come up with a plan, then I would create the ads and run some tests. If I got responses I could quickly create the product. Many times the idea didn't fly and I never got a response. In those cases, creating and placing the ads was my only time investment.

i join programs that already have the sales funnel done for me, then I just plug and play the traffic ASAP.

Easy1up sort of style, where everything is done, you just drive traffic and count sales.

This is the easiest way to do it, these days. Its all about funnels.....

If I wanted to create products l would create the product then the funnel then a few emails before launch.

This way as you start to test traffic...your leads will get their follow ups.

However I don't create products yet (even after 10 years online) and prefer to just focus on creating targeted traffic to an offer that is already proven.

I rather leave the products and systems creation to the conversion 'experts'.

I usually build 6-10 emails before starting my aweber autoresponder campaign. As soon as the list grows I keep on adding more and more to the funnels.

My first 6-7 emails covers story made by me to engage them in the funnel.

  • It is better to build your content for the newsletter campaigns first before you send them out. Planning your content ahead of time is much easier and more strategic since you can plot your content better instead of just making some random content. You may first complete the list of products and topics/sub-topics you want to promote and make these as bases for your campaigns.
