Wrong Nameserver Registered - Help

I registered the wrong nameserver on the DNS in Godaddy and I am trying to save the correct name servers of ns1 and ns2 but I cannot register them.

The ones Godaddy has put are NS69.DOMAINCONTROL.COM and NS70.DOMAINCONTROL.COM and this is what is appearing on the WHM when I am trying to create a new account.

How can I resolve this matter? I sent an email to Godaddy and the put the above nameservers.

Please Help..

Log into GoDaddy and from your account (All Products/Domains) choose Domain Management.

Then click on your domain name and choose Manage under Nameservers.

In the pop up box, choose the Custom radio button then enter your nameservers in the box beneath.

OR, if you're changing existing Custom nameservers, click the Edit nameservers link and then edit them.

When you've done editing hit the Save button. The new nameservers won't show up immediately but leave it for 30 minutes or so and they will propogate.

The nameservers you've quoted are just 'parked' nameservers from GoDaddy that they use as 'Standard'.

I have followed the steps and in under nameservers, I selected set nameservers. When the popup box appears I have clicked on I have specific namerservers for my domains.

This is where I have tried to change the nameservers and it only says that the nameservers are not registered.

I will give it a few hours and try again.

If you're doing this in Domain Management then don't worry about the Nameservers not showing correctly in your Domain list. They won't change until they've propogated through the Internet.

Please have your patience. If you have changed the name servers recently then it would take up to 24hrs. to 48hrs. Wait till then. And if you still see that nothings has happened call to Godaddy support that's all, they will help you to configure the name servers correctly.

The problem is not getting solved. Where can I change the IP of the server? I am having a problem locating it.

Give GoDaddy's Customer Service a call. They can help you out.

As mentioned above, it takes time to propagate once you make a change. Unfortunately, the first change was incorrect. So you just have to wait a little while. Customer Support should be able to make sure everything is ok.

It's best to let those settings resole and propagate - and then go back and change them.

That will work just fine but you have to have some patience to do it. Even if you have the correct DNS entered you still have to give it time to propagate throughout the web.

The more you try to change it before it's resolved the longer it will take to get it done.

I'm a little confused as to what the problem is but you keep mentioning GoDaddy, just contact support. It's better than running around in circles..

Considering that this problem is still lingering on, does this mean that I cannot get anything done on the WHM. I want to create a new account on it but I am worried that I might jump this step of correct nameserver and I have to do everything from scratch.
