I'm struggling to find anything in the Warriors for Hire section, and wondered if anyone had any experience of the costs for providing voicovers for a video.

In my situation I'd be looking for 10 voiceovers of approximately 30 minutes each which I will put over a video and make available for download via mp3.

I can post in the Warriors for Hire section or somewhere like Odesk but wanted to get a ballpark figure first.

The lowest rates I've seen are around $5 per minute, but I've never really done a lot of research into voice overs.

Thanks Alexa. I have been in touch with Terra and she has been very helpful.

I would definitely take a look over at fiverr for sure There are some great ones there, I will try to find the name of the one my sister used.

      Cheers,

Thanks Trish - I just didn't think I'd get 30 minute voiceovers for $5, although guess a lot of them will do add on deals.

I've always played with the idea of doing voiceovers, but I'll be the first to admit that I never invested much energy into it. Please feel free to listen to an audition, (below), and if you're interested, we can chat. Thanks!

Most voiceover artists will charge per minute. Those rates vary a lot depending on the quality of the person/voice and their equipment. Sure, you can find some guys on fiverr who probably just do it with very basic equipment. Or you can look on the real voiceover sites where you are more likely to come across those who have the proper equipment. I have always paid a few hundred dollars for a 3-5 minute voiceover because I have always been after quality for my videos.

The second thing I will say is that 30 minutes for a video is a LONG time these days. I would seriously consider breaking that up into multiple smaller videos. People just don't have the attention span nowadays.
