INTERNET MARKETING

So I have 100 or more sites that I have built up over the years, and because google has banned people for interlinking their sites, I have been careful. But at the same time, isn't there a place to interrelate your content among many sites when the linking is done in a user centric way?

For example, I might link a video section of one site with another. Or maybe I link from one article to another. What I probably wouldn't do is have a bunch of site wide links.

You you also live in Link Fear sometimes?

You are not alone. The problem is the DISAVOW tool. If your site is reported by too many people, you get penalized. That's probably a key part of Penguin 2.0. For interlinking your own sites internally, you should be okay. But building an internal link farm... Ehm... Not a good idea.

Yep, I know a lot of people who live in like fear... People are paranoid and scared to do anything they deem "bad" in googles opinion. I think thats what google wants.

You needn't live in link fear if you are careful to form links using related keywords. In other words keep it natural, much as you would do with internal linking using related posts on a blog, for example.

one of my websites was hit hard by the 1 st penguin update I followed the seo gurus advice back then and I had no link diversity or anchor text

once I realized what the penalty was I hit back hard with high quality link velocity, with natural anchor text, forum traffic and got on those social signals and got back to the top, took aboit two months

so best advice is always think natural how backling is suppose to be

If you are interlinking relevant parts of your separate sites then I don't think you have anything to worry about. If you are interlinking for the sake of it, then that could cause problems.
