The best way is to get something like WP Twin or Backup Buddy.

I don't know any free way to do it though

Then it's time for you to start reading the WordPress online manual - it's free and you can learn a lot* about the tool you are using

*e.g. Moving WordPress « WordPress Codex

Give a try to Wordpress Duplicator. A free Wordpress plugin but very powerful.

Here is the link: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ (no affiliate)

what you need to do is:

1- Go to your Php admin database, choose export your database
2- Save your database file on your desktop
3- Build a new database for your new domain
4- Go to php admin database, select your new database and import the file that you save on step 2.
5- Install wordpress files on the folder of your new domain.
6- Connect your database with your new domain on the wp-config file.

I hope that this help you.

As Istvan said, if you are a serious WordPress user, learn how to do it yourself ...

Having said that, here is the email address of someone who will do it for you without a hitch and with minimum of fuss: lisanthemum@gmail.com. I've recommended her to many people and I've never received any negative feedback.

Lisa used to charge $5 per domain to move it, but she may have increased her prices slightly.

I second the Wordpress Duplicator plugin. Totally free and has worked perfectly for me. IMO it's as good as any paid equivalent out there. And easier to use than some too. Give it a go and see what you think.

You can try "UpdraftPlus Backup/Restore", I am using it, and the light verion is free, and enough for common backup and restore.

    The process:

1.install the plugin in the old domain's wordpress
2.backup wordpress using the plugin, and download the backup file, or save to dropbox
3.install the plugin in the new domain's wordpress
4.restore wordpress from the backup file

You can PM me if have any problem.

I recommend WP Twin, you can easily make a duplicate of a site and install it on a new domain in minutes. easy to use and it works flwlessly.

As mentioned, there are plugins to do this for you. However, if you really want to learn, read the WordPress codex that Istvan provided.

For me, knowing how to do it, if I had to, is important. Having the tool to make is easier is always nice after the fact. I use one of the plugins mentioned, however, there was an issue with it. Because I knew what needed to be done manually, I was able to get the site moved and was able to contact support to let them know what failed. They were very appreciative of my assistance.

Do you mean you want to move the website to a new host/server? If so you can read this How to Move WordPress to a New Server or Host

If you just want a new domain name, then you don't need to move anything. Just change the Domain Name Servers on the new domain.

Use a plugin or fiverr to get it done quick. If you want to learn how it's done do it yourself following directions in this thread. It's not complicated. I move wordpress sites all the time.

Can't you backup your site using the cPanel backup and then restore it on the cPanel for the new domain? I don't have much experience with that but it seems like it would work. If all else fails, contact your hosting company's tech support.
