As a newbie trying to make money through affiliate marketing using youtube, how do i go about it. Especially when it comes to making or getting a clip and ranking on youtube, i'll be glad if you can recommend any book on this topic. Thanks in advance...

    got to read a book called "sneaky affiliate commissions".There a method is described to rank a youtube video in a day.
    Its available for free in Warroom section.

        That is a good product (already read it), but from my opinion you still need more good quality backlink to get your youtube video get rank at google and yahoo

    I highly suggest checking it out.

    I use his strategies + CPA offers = $$$$ when I do my Youtube stuff.

    YouTube marketing is a great way to market your business online.

    But........

    I don't recommend that this be your only strategy to market. You are going to upload videos to YouTube but you can not rely on them for traffic and forever. I am not trying to scare you here but if you want to be successful for years to come then you need to have multiple places or advertising venues that work for you.

    You can never rely only on YouTube.

      I would say it would all be dependent on your market and your approach. Yes there are many techniques you can use when marketing on youtube or any social setting. I would suggest that you adopt a core concept when approaching these large traffic domains.

      Think of yourself as though you're at a party. A guy comes up to you and starts selling to you. Even if its a soft approach you instantly put up a wall as you can see straight through him. Don't make this mistake in the Social Media Realm. Be the guy that's handing out the drinks. Attain lead information first sell 2nd.

      What does this mean? Offer the viewer value. To the point where they can't say no. Exchange that value for their contact information (simple name and email address will do) Gain the relationship with them. Set trust. Then bring your product or service to market with value that they can't ignore.

        Just make sure the videos you're putting up are quality. I've seen juicy top spots littered with garbage video, there's one guy in particular, who uses the same fiverr gig video, for all his cb products.

        Just because they're ranking doesn't mean they'll necessarily rank well.

        Ranking them is just half the battle, give your viewers great videos and you'll do well.
