automated system for confirming dentist' appointments

I am just starting to sell mobile apps and mobile websites, and I ran across a dentist that uses text messages to confirm appointments for their office. I just wondered if there is an automated process that would make it easier for the office staff to do this. Now, they use a smart phone and send each message individually.

I thought by suggesting an automated process that would make it easier, I may be able to get my leg in the door. Any suggestions?

      Thanks for the reply. Google search brings up lots of software, mostly pretty expensive, that will confirm appointments. However, I was looking for a wp app, mobile app, text automation system that i could sell along with mobile apps that may work in conjunction with a mobile app like a call me button, order button, map button, etc. Basically something I could add on to the mobile app that I am selling.
