Need your help with RSS feeds

Hello all!
I am trying to add a latest news section on my website. I gather the news via different RSS feeds. The problem I am having is with the output/display of the RSS feed.

I either get a short version with a "read more" link pointing at the original post or a full version without images.

What I want is the full version with images. The same way a lot of news websites pull their material from rss feeds.

I have tried several plugins, but nothing seems to work the way I want it to.

I am a bit lost here so any help would be greatly appreciated.

The news web sites pay for the RSS feeds. That's the main thing.

If you pull people's RSS feeds with all images and everything you might find yourself in hot water faster than you can easily handle.

      Thanks for your answer!
Funny thing was that after I started this thread I read "Thanked 1,000 Times in 766 Posts" by you and that you always try to help people.

I remember thinking "Well now hpgoodboy it is time to help me" LOL

The first thing I did when I saw your answer was to hit that thank you button

You are totally right about copying straight off is not a good solution if you want to be friends with the SEs. I was more thinking of curating the content.

So if I rephrase the question: I use RSS feeds to pull in interesting content, I go through the content and chose one or two articles that I want to curate. How can I easily pull/copy the whole article with titles, images and everything and have it sent to my draftbox in WP so I can start working with the material?

The first script I ever sold was RSS feeds for websites, back when nobody had a clue how to get this on their sites.

I just remembered that there were sites that provided RSS feeds with images. So I did a quick search for News Feed APIs and Widgets. I found this one which seemed familar .. but this type of free service might help?

Many people consider using RSS as "fair use", as it gives the publisher a means to automatically allow others to syndicate the content across domains, which is the reason RSS was first developed.

However, trying to scrape full content or include images that aren't included isn't fair use. Publishers choose what they put in their RSS pheeds. If they want to include full content and/or pictures, they will put it in their RSS. If they don't include this content in their pheeds and you insist on taking it anyway is likely a violation of copyright, and not cool.

Yes, I understand that I might be walking on a thin line here :-)

The main reason I want this news section on my site is to add some value for my visitors. I want to serve them the latest from the business while on my site and I want it to be presented in a way that goes well with the rest of my site. I will off course give proper credit for the rightful owner of the original content, by linking to the original source.

I have written mostly original content for my sites for years and actually never tried curating others content, so in this I am a newbie.

Guess I have to start off with learning the rights and wrongs with curating content :-)

I am happy with the input, thoughts and tips so far.
