Marketing and Landing Page Concept Question.

I run a web development and SEO firm for a niche market and I have a company website.

I've also written a book that I sell on this same website.

Would it be advisable to sell the book on a completely different site than my company site?

The audience is the same, but I like the idea of having more flexibility with landing pages, etc on a dedicated site.

Though I'm concerned that I'd lose people because people who are interested in the book, would also be interested in my bigger-ticket primary services.

Thank you for any advice!

    Much like an big company, branding is very important.

    But it doesn't matter where you sell your book, you should still have a funnel in place so that those customers are exposed to your other products or services no matter what.

      But after all I've learned here about landing pages, I don't want them to have to click away

      I want to say. "Hey, this book is awesome and you need it so buy it". But look if you don't want to buy the book, then definitely check out the company's main website because are services are awesome, too".

      I fell like I can do a better job of that on one site -- but I like the idea of the book being its own entity?

      forgive the basic question....but do you mean an analytics funnel, or the use a of product to generate the funnel? Something like optimize press?
