How do you friend someone on the Forum?

I've checked out the help pages for friending someone on this forum but none of the options referred to appear. Is there something special you need to do before the options appear?

    So far as I know, both you and the person you wish to befriend need to be paid members. I don't know if this is any of the paid options or just the War Room. I just know that as soon as I paid for War Room access then I was able to do it.

      Hi Glenn, thanks for that helpful comment. In fact I have just joined the War Room and that produced the Friend button in the right place. So, yes, you have to pay the one time fee of $37.

      However, the Thanks button now seems to have disappeared!!!

    You might have thanked too many people for the day. I'm pretty sure there is a limit to how many times you can press it in 24 hours. Mine disappears a lot!

      Thanks Marc, you could be right..... I hadn't thought of that. It was just funny that the Friend button appeared and the Thanks button disappeared when I paid for War Room membership! Ah well, I'll have a look tomorrow. Have a webinar in an hour & 15 mins. Another late night for me!

      Marc was right. I don't know what the limit is per day of Thanks but once you reach the limit the button disappears. Will have to test it out.

      You have to be a War Room member to get the "Friends" button on control panel.

    Very cool. What do you sell? Or actually I'm assuming you're running the webinar. I could totally be wrong about that which is why I'm asking!

    But yea it's most likely too many thanks. I tend to use mine liberally. Just another one of those things to help stop autobot stuff.

      Not actually selling anything just yet. Have some products coming up with Matt Bacak and Brain Koz. Some way off just yet. Also have one or two other things tinkling around in the back ground, which may be up and running in the next couple of weeks.

      Webinar I am not running just listening/viewing, with Shawn Casey & Brian Koz but they are having problems with audio from Australia!

    Look in your control panel. You will see a contacts and friends option. Use that.

      For the last 5 years I've been going to the contact and friends option, didn't even know there was a friend button option in a thread itself.

    Chris - happy to report the help desk operates efficiently. I did pay the $37 and made a friend request immediately. You were top of the hit parade. It is also good to know that their is a befriend button as well to streamline the process.

    :-D Thanks for the spelling correction. It always boggles my mind when it happens, since it's on a forum where it's like, right out there in the open.

    (There goes my ego.)

    Anyway - here's another way to make friends on the forum. Attack them viciously, and then kiss and make up. It works pretty good. Okay, I'm only kidding. Halfway.
