Help me find a way to pay for college!?

Hey everyone I'm very new as a member here on WF but have been reading tons. I'm a recent high school graduate and headed to college in the fall.

My mother has saved as much as she could for my college but there are still lots of bills that my grants and loans just haven't covered.

I have built authority niche sites freelance before and my customers make a decent amount of money ($200+ a month).

I enjoy building and ranking sites I just simply don't have the time to build them for myself and wait for them all to be built and start ranking. I have to start making payment arrangements this month for school in the fall and don't know which direction to move in.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could possibly sell my website building and ranking skills?

Thanks a bunch!

If you don't have the time or patience, you might be better off getting a job on the side to help with your expenses, try IM in your spare time.

    Thanks Alex,

Is there no market for selling my authority site building and/or ranking services?

There is a market for but it's competitive (many services out there) and you need to be top notch at it. Plus I don't think this will fit your need as getting clients, managing payments takes time and will not always yield big results right away. After all you need to make a name for yourself so people trust your service.

In my opinion it would be easier to teach people how to rank site for themselves if you have something new to add.

On the other hand if you are good at SEO you can rank for long tail or low comp buying keywords within a week or two. All you need is a good on page seo and some quality links.

I totally agre with Shane on this. Make use of what you have already gained. It's invaluable. Sometimes, we need to take a closer look at all the possibilities, skills, expertise we already possess before trying for something else. You might be able to sell your site but you could also use that potential you have to make more $$! Go for it! Don't think too much and the best of luck to you.

      Have a great week end.

Use that money first or pause the college entrance if that's really tough on the loans.

Why don't you build more or your own!

So, now you build them for others?

Go to work for part-time jobs, you'll get paid daily or weekly. As you know, Internet Marketing is not a get rich quick scheme or make money over night.

On here (Warrior For Hire) or (Establish Site For Sale) Or create a WSO. In addition, another IM forums such as BHW or DP and more.

But, it's hard to convince people to buy your service because you don't have track record of this or the proof that your service is worthwhile.

I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!

Thanks everyone for the advice! I just looked into the warriors for hire section and complete websites but it doesn't seem like anyone would be willing to buy from me because I'm new. Can I have my past customer's write up some reviews and I can post their adsense proof to help my credibility? Perhaps I can also have them give me permission to share their email addresses so warriors can get first hand reviews?

Shane you make a great point consulting might be a good route to take.

You could offer to build website for a low start up fee just to build a reputation on this forum. Alternatively, if you really want to impress your clients, do the whole website for free.

If you can build sites that can generate $200/month, you're sitting on a gold mine.
Create a fantastic authority site for yourself, keep building it, wait until it starts generating money, then make a few screenshots to prove your earnings, start a thread in the WSO forum, and offer your services. Offer 80% discount for the first 3 customer, so you'll have some testimonials. Another idea: offer 100% discount for 1 well-known member here on the forum, and ask him/her to publish the results from time to time. In the long term, you can surely earn thousands per month even if you don't have the patience, and you just create the sites for others.

    Some ideas...

    - Make websites as fast as you can and flip them via something like Flippa.com

    - Outsource the building with a site like oDesk.com

    - Expand your skillset. You could learn things like Paid Ads, CPA, Product Creation, ect... Since you are already experienced in making money online, you could pick up these skills quick.

These are my best ideas right now

College sucks, the money you will spend for college tuition and other fees can help you start, build and actually maintain an online business. To start a business, you do not need a degree!

That's a limited mindset. I know many who didn't go to college (and some who dropped out) who say "it's a waste of time". I've never met anyone who completed their college degree who regrets doing it.

I just simply don't have the time to build them for myself and wait for them all to be built and start ranking.
I think you'd be better off building your own sites assuming you can rank them and get traffic. Working on your own sites won't take any more time than building sites for others and the income will GROW as you work on the sites.

Time is required no matter what you do. If your mother's efforts plus grants and loans are enough to cover freshman year - building your OWN authority sites during that year could pay off well.

For a student, the disadvantages of "service" work online is the time involved in finding new customers and doing the work. That same time spent on your own sites could result in partially passive income as you progress in school.

Building up your own sites can result in an influx of cash later when you need it. You can sell a site for a LOT more money if the site is a couple years old, ranked high and making monthly income.

If you can design websites and want quick money, pick up the Yellow Pages and your phone and get to work cold calling businesses offering web design/redesign/autoresponder installation service etc.

No better place than right here in the WF Classified or WSO section. Put together a few packages and hope for the best

doesn't seem like anyone would be willing to buy from me because I'm new.
That is nonsense, set up a few demo's so people can see your work, and they will buy if it's good, warriors don't discriminate

Thank you everyone for your great advice! I wish I could give you all thanks but I don't believe I've hit the proper amount of posts to do that? Either way I'm thinking I should build a few of my own sites, try my hand at consulting and possibly write up a site building ad for here on the WF. I will owe all of my success to you all!

    Thanks again!
