Clickbank/Amazon: What's Wrong?

I have successfully generated several thousands of "hops" to a few Clickbank links (good gravity) through opt-in emails with keywords/niches (verified through the email click-thru numbers). I did the same with an Amazon Associates link.

I have not seen a penny in commissions, however, except for a single sale that was me purchasing the item, myself.

Does this add up, or might there be something wrong with the sites, links or vendors?

  • Chances are your traffic is not targeted enough to the offer. Good targeted traffic directed properly to an offer will result in sales. As long as your offer is good and others are converting traffic to the offer then the chances are you have low quality traffic.

    I agree with Miles' comment right above.

    And am curious about something else, additionally: when you say "good gravity", do you in fact mean "high gravity"? If so, I'm wondering whether that might perhaps be part of the problem?

    "Good" is a very subjective term, isn't it? To many ClickBank affiliates "good gravity" is actually low gravity. These threads explain why, if they help/interest you ...
