How can I add an Upsell!?

Hey guys I have a product that I'm selling that gives people access to my membership site. I use optimize press and the free version of s2member. I need to know how you can add an upsell after they purchase?

I've checked and it sends them straight to a registration page... Is there any way that I can send them to an upsell first??

Anything will Help!

Best Regards,

David

I would focus on the main sale, sometimes trying to up sell can lose the main sale. for the up sell try doing it with email marketing.

The url they are sent to after they purchase is usually determined by the payment processor or product delivery platform you are using, not Optimize Press or Wishlist. For example services such as Warrior Plus, JVZoo and Clickbank allow you to specify a thank you page url people are taken too after they purchase. If you had a OTO then this thank you page url would be the url for your OTO page.

Yes I know that thank you but there is no place to take them to a thank you page in s2member... Maybe it's because it is the free version I'm not sure but thanks for the advice anyways.

        I'm confused.

As I said above it is NOT your membership software that decides where people are sent to after they purchase, it is the payment processor.

I see what you are saying but I do not create my payment buttons in paypal... my membership site (s2member) creates them for me.

            Right.

Well personally I would recommend you use an actual product delivery platform such as JV Zoo, Clickbank or Product Pay.

You will then have full control over all of this sort of stuff and a whole lot more features you won't get using your own payment buttons.

You will also have the ability to get affiliates promoting your product for you.

If you can add a url to the payment button you might be able or insert a fake (look alike) payment button to the sales letter that takes them straight to an upsell page. At the end of the upsell you can have a text link that says take me up on this offer or no thanks text link under it.

But now that what you have said finally sunk into my thick skull, you might not be able to even add the upsell to the payment processor.

I think I would get a new payment processor, the program you are using is costing you sales.
