How do I re-route all my pages to my new domain and get all backlinks sent to new domain?

Over the year I've built up a lot of backlinks and articles to my site which is hosted on .net domain. I've purchased the .com and want to move the whole site over to the .com.
What do I do with the .net to ensure all link juice is spread to new domain? Also is there a way that if someone trying to access the article on .net .. i.e.. domain/article1 that they'll get redirected to that same article on the new domain? I'd appreciate any help for this!
Thanks!

I know you can forward the .NET but to forward every subdomain as well you might not be able to do that. Maybe speak to your web host provider and they should be able to answer that for you.

Thanks for reply. So if I 'forward' the domain, all link juice will flow to the new domain?

Here is a topic I appreciated that seems to answer your question.

I haven't actually tried to use the code so can't say for sure that it works, but it looked good enough that I filed it away in case it is needed.

You might not need to keep the old domain verified which would save you a step.
