How to use mailing list?

I am already generating a mailing list using a wordpress plugin. How to use it to let the subscribers know whenever I write a new post?

    Why don't you send out a broadcast to them. You'll add a summary of your blog post and then ask them to go to your blog to see the remaining post. Is this a plugin that allows you to message your subscribers? If so, what I said would be possible.

    Hi,

    Honestly if you're serious about building a list then try
    using a professional service like Getresponse or Aweber.

    You can send out broadcast messages whenever you like
    and set up a message series that goes out automatically
    as soon as someone enters your list.

      Unless there's an automatic setting in your plugin - you'll have to do it manually via broadcast.

      As others have stated...I'd go with a more "professional" autoresponder service.

        One of the people I know does like this on blogspot. Whenever he puts any new post, an email is received automatically. He asked me my email address once.

    You should get an autoresponder and do things properly. Aweber are good and have a $1 trial for 30 days.

    Use a email marketing or newsletter service. You can upload your list keep a ongoing promotional email campaign running.

    Most services offer email templates for free. You can also monitor social interactions.

      You should really be building a list to educate and market to.. It's fine sending them to a blog but it can be difficult to make enough sales to make it worthwhile.

      I started that way myself.. But made far more money when I set up lists with the sole intention of using and soft training approach followed by a subtle promotion

    Try simply cast. It's free for up to 2000 contacts in your list. Has autoresponders, sign up forms, and a lot more too. Plus if you ever sign up for a package they donate to the ASPCA.

    How big is your mailing list using that Plugin?

    It's not really the most ideal thing to be using. I'd suggest what others have been saying and invest in a real autoresponder like GVO, Aweer, Get response...

    First of all, you need professional autoresponder, I recommend for GetResponse - you have 30 days free trial.
    About your question:

    As I said, you need an autoresponder, after you get it, you should send them email every time you want to let them know about new post, all you need to do is to choose in the broadcast option in your autoresponder service.

    Don't forget, you try to build relationships, don't spam your subscribers email box by offering products or if you post new article everyday, don't email them everyday, i'm telling you it from my experience.
