at first try to use free traffic sites like classifieds, traffic exchanges, email Marketing etc. Later you can opt for Paid And SEM Advertising.

Put out a press release. Start writing articles on subjects potential customers will be reading about. Ping your website. Create a blogger account, write a blog post, and link back to your website. Use social bookmarking. The list goes on. Good luck!

Get yourself a domain and paid hosting before google comes and take you down. Then explore creating videos and targeting keywords on youtube. This always has great results.

The first thing i would do is to get off blogspot and invest in a cheap hosting with a domain name. It helps you with the ranking as well as builds a brand for you. A self host website will also enable you to display ads which could help you get affiliate sales for products like adult dating, health or toys.

The best way to get traffic is always buying traffic which is fast and effective. Always start with a small budget and work up from there.

If you have a tight budget for paid traffic, you can try adding your url link to videos and posting it up on various other adult sites.

I am amazed you've actually got as many as 850 views seeing as you don't seem to have actually done anything to get traffic so far?

Including on page SEO isn't really enough to get traffic and chances are that no one is liking your FB page because they don't know it exists.

Firstly get the blog off blogger (do they even allow adult content?) and onto your own hosting and domain so that people can take your site seriously.

Secondly, come up with a traffic strategy.

Ask yourself these questions...

What is the demographic you are targeting?
Where is your target audience already hanging out?
How can you get them from where they already are to your site?

If you're not willing to spend money (you should consider getting a budget together for promotion) then focus on forum posting with signature links, blog commenting (use Google Alerts to find new posts on your keywords), social media, video marketing on Youtube and Vimeo etc, content marketing (syndication / guest posting).

I'm getting the idea here that it will be a good idea to get off blogger. But yes they do allow adult content. In the settings panel on your blog dashboard there is a little button that says "adult content" and you just switch it to yes. But I'm up to over 1,200 views now. I do market it a little on facebook by posting a link to it on other adult facebook pages. My girlfriend thinks that since I have gotten so many views on a site that really isnt out there in front of people that I should really invest in this. would you agree??

Don't go crazy and invest your life savings in it yet but get it off blogger and onto your own hosting and domain and then do a little more of whatever you've done to get traffic so far + ask yourself the 3 questions I laid out above then go to work on them.

And yes you need to spend money to make money in this business so don't be cheap if you don't have to be.

Keep the BlogSpot blog as it is and funnel any traffic that comes to it towards your main site.

First off, get off Blogger's domain. Lose the .blogspot extension, and get a Wordpress blog. More traffic to your Blogger .com blog wont matter if you wake up tomorrow and Google deleted your blog.

You should offer lots of pics and videos, and submit your content to the video directories in your niche. You will find yourself amongst alot of competition. Do alot of SEO also.

Get used to it my friend because IM takes up a lot of time and you'll sometimes spend weeks on things only to find out afterwards you wasted your time or it didn't work like planned.

Ha, ha very true! I have been Marketing online for 5 years and there has been times when I spent several months working in projects (I am talking 12 hours + days for months) and then the results were not what I expected... and I leave the project.

It's all part of the learning process I am afraid...

Everyone has their ideas of how to best generate traffic. All ideas are great but nothing works overnight. I think staying patient while you work through some of those ideas with determine success or failure. There will be a lot of trial and error until you find what works best for you. Am yet to find out what works most effectively and overnight though

Yes in the past I've done the same. Whether it was due to poor research or me expecting too much I spent months of my time and hundreds of dollars only to find my 'big idea' wasn't well received and was a waste of time.

1) as already said, get a hosted Wordpress blog

2) Get a domain (dot com's only) with the main keyword you want to target

3) YT Marketing:

a) upload videos with a link in the description (either to your site or - even better- to a capture page where you can give a freebie so you build a list at the same time.)

b) If you are willing to spend $10 or so... find related YouTube videos with already lots of views (and no link in the description) and contact the owner asking to add your link.

4) Set Google Alerts to several keywords

5) Set up a Tumblr blog... you'll get more fans quicker than Facebook. Every time you post in Tumblr, you can add your link in the description so if it gets "reblogged" by other users, it gains even more exposure... AND you can post them automatically also in Facebook and Twitter for greater exposure.
