Newbie Introduction, Question...

Hello guys, I am new to the forum. It seems like this forum has many successful internet marketers so I wanted to come and learn what I can. I have not had any real success with internet marketing so I figure this is a good place to start.

Since I joined I purchased Fiverr Reloaded, Fiverr Frenzy and Fiverr Blitz by Daniel Evans. I am going to try those as a start. Has anyone had any success with those? Do you have any recommendations for a newbie on other systems to begin with or training?

It's good to be in the presence of so any warriors and I hope to learn a lot here. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Jay

Take those products and flush them down the toilet.

Once you've done that, learn how to run a proper online business.

      Ouch!

Okay, over and beyond being a bit rude and completely lacking any helpfulness, the next thing that struck me was to ask you if could you please explain to me how exactly one flushes a digital product down the toilet?

Just because someone just starting out wants to try something like Fiverr for getting their feet wet in this business doesn't mean they won't have a "proper" online business.

I guess we all can't start out knowing everything there is to know about an online business right at the beginning, like you did, right?

JayCee, what I recommend is starting with what you have already. Now that you have read them, get prepared to take the leap of faith and put them to use. I personally don't know anything about Fiverr marketing at all because I never have done it, but I don't recommend looking for something else to purchase and try out before you implement what you learned from what you already have.

It will lead to always searching for something else, buying, reading, no action and looking again. That bad habit has caused many a newbie to lose a lot of money.

Go ahead and give Fiverr a shot, learn some things from experience in doing that. Take that experience you gain and build on your business in the future.

      That's my recommendation any way.

          John,

I must say you really impressed me with this post. It takes a good person to apologize when they're wro...wro...wron...Okay, less than right.

From what I hear, it works for some and if you're just starting out, it is a way to get your feet wet a little without becoming completely overwhelmed until you learn the multifaceted workings of IM.

    Hello and welcome.

Free advice #1. Don't ask a question like that in an open forum. This post will very shortly have 2000 replies

Free advice #2. Whatever you decide to go with (Fiverr, Email marketing, Niche Sites, Etc.) Stick with it and become an expert at it. There is NO system that will give you instant success, no matter what the sales page says. Just learn what you can from whatever you buy, and then learn something else.

Free advice #3 No matter what you do, sounds like you are interested in Fiverr. No matter what it is, find a way to build your list.

Other than that, Good luck. This is a very helpful place, but there are a few sharks.

There are so many ways to make money online. One of the easiest (in terms or reliable return) is to write articles online.

If you are looking for less 'active' monetization then you can look at adsense, amazon and other affiliate programmes. The key, as will no doubt be said by others, is to find one thing and stick to it. It can be so tempting to jump on the next idea that comes along but the real profits come when you master one approach and do it consistently well. Once you have one system working then maybe you have the chance to branch into a second idea and so on but focus is the key.

My recommendation is that you pick a method and stick with it. Fiverr can be very profitable IF you build relationships with your buyers (just as IM in general). It can be a great way for a beginner to generate some money and gain knowledge before starting a REAL online business.

You did the right thing to buy WSOs. Invest in your education first and implement the concepts later. Many people simply jump into IM without any real idea of what they are doing. While some might be successful, the majority could have created something better in less time had they acquired an education beforehand.

    Hi Jay,

For what it is worth, I do quite well on Fiverr using Jay Boyers Fiverr Factory product. Since I first implemented it about a year ago, I expanded on the idea and do a good bit of marketing on Fiverr using PLR products that you aren't investing sweat equity in.

Let me clear that up a bit...If you want to build your business on Fiverr, pick some good PLR products that you have resell rights for along with some good bonuses to give away. Edit them to suit your needs and deliver them in PDF format. You can then cross-sell your other gigs in the PDF you consistently deliver as well as promote affiliate products to build your list and profts up from a simple $5 gig.

Please feel free to message me if you need some help and I will be glad to assist. I know what it was like to be fishing in such a big pond when I first started out.

    To your huge success....

What skills do you have? What interests you? The best advice is to try one thing and give it enough time at least 3 months before deciding it doesn't work. There is no such thing as a quick money making solution. If you want a business that will eb future proof and provide a reliable income then you must work and stick at it.

There is no short cut to success in choosing the right online business.
Have faith in your product by studying their in's and out's,
Look for people who have the same product as you have, talk to them learn from them. Don't rush thing, it's a step by step process.
If you can give a free service or products do it to establish a commitment to your buyers. They'll take you seriously when they are benefiting with your service.

This. Too many people try to make money by trying hundreds of different techniques. Pick one technique and master it.

    Welcome Jay,

Well, not sure how much help this will be to you, but I can just list a few of the things that have made me money:

    1) Android apps paid and free (using startapp) (This was by far the easiest, as I think timing is everything)
    2) Adsense (back in the day)
    3) Ebay
    4) Flippa
    5) Kindle/Createspace publishing
    6) Affiliate Marketing
    7) emini trading
    8) real estate

    and blah blah blah...

And there's more that I could add to the list, so you can almost make money with just about anything as long as you have the right strategy and mindset.

I say the key to is be resourceful with what you have, rather than constantly looking for more resources.

Alot of people get bogged down thinking that they need to know everything and never take action.

Now days, I'm able to use a few of these income sources to fund things that I'm more passionate about in life.

If I had to do it all over again, I would focus on product creation as quickly as possible. Still, no regrets though on the path I came.

But just find an area (any area really) and model what the most successful people in that area are doing--this is the quickest way to success.

And remember, (yes this deserves saying twice ) be resourceful with what you have and the info you gain now, instead of constantly looking for more resources. Take Action.

    JayCee007:
Welcome aboard! I won't even attempt to tell you what path to take or what the "best" way is, that's all being discussed already in a zillion posts here.

While I agree with what others have said about learning, don't become distracted by all the new guides, reports, programs and e-mails coming at you left and right in this industry. It's easy to find yourself on information overload reading all different ways to make it happen... meanwhile not DOING anything. Once you have something that looks good - put it into action and see what happens. Some things are winners for some people. Some things aren't.

As others will tell you... once you find something that works for you, rinse and repeat!

    Best of luck to you.

use the search function on warrior forum on the topics that you would like to learn about (in this case fiverr). You will get tons of information for free worth alot more than the WSO's you got.

      Hi There,

If you are really keen to get started on Fiverr then I think the advice from Martbost above could be very helpful!

He suggested selling or giving away PLR products, Ebooks or Reports which you've edited and made your own, then leave your affiliate links (One or Two I suggest - not too many of them anyway!) along with the great content you've written and hopefully you will get results!

The main point to remember is that Nobody gets their hands on these Products - Free or Paid until they input their email address on your Squeeze Page!

So No.1 Priority is ..... Build Your List!

You then need to seriously think about the Niche you are going into - so where's your focus going to be!

This is not to say that this is the only Niche you can go into but you do need to Focus, if you spread yourself too thin you will spend all your time jumping from one thing to another - get overwhelmed and achieve little!

While all this is going on you need also to think about getting your Main Website up and running - so that you have your HQ as it were!

There are so many ways that people make money online but if you focus and stick to what you've decided on you will hopefully come out on top.

      Good Luck!
