Labor Day Contest: Get my last WSO free...the clueless comedian

I really just would love to hear your feedback but I want to give away my last WSO as a free gift for the best answer.

My last WSO will teach you a simple technique anyone can use to bring the rate of refunds on your digital products down to nearly zero and will have your customers THANKING you for doing it.

So here's the challenge.

I have a friend who is a bit of a comedian.

He has videos on Youtube and get's at least 100,000 views every time he posts one of his videos.

He's clueless when it comes to making money, though.

He has a website off of Youtube where he hosts some videos you can't get on Youtube, but the only form of monetization is Adsense. I know he's making a piss poor amount of money from that.

My natural instincts fail me because he's not a self help niche where people have problems they need solved. There's no natural affiliate products you can hit them that would really make sense. These people just want to be entertained. They don't really want to be sold to.

So my last WSO goes to the person with the best way to monetize his traffic without pissing off his fans!

P.S. This is sort of a vlog. People became pretty interested in his personal life. Maybe that get's you on the right track.

Good luck

  • Hi Mike,

His real fans won't get upset no matter what he does. The ones that do get upset are just casual followers. IMHO.

Anyway, he could put together a best of compilation, with longer clips, and use that as a way to get people to join his fan club. They would also get the first chance to see any new clips and maybe a few other perks - like a printable membership card, or a color-it-yourself mask of his image with eyehole cutouts.

If he's that good, have him play up the funny angle and people will keep coming back for more because they will associate him with feeling good.

  • Dude,

This is a no brainer. Put together a DVD of funny videos and sell it. You can set it up using Kunaki or another self publishing site. It costs $2 to $6 to publish the DVD and he can charge $10 to $20 a piece. Check out this site. They give away all of there videos and still sell the DVDs with extras on them.

If he builds a mailing list this gets even better. He can also promote other comedian's products as an Amazon affiliate.

    • Nice. But don't you think he'd make more with some kind of membership site...hmmm?

    • He can sell links that will be watermarked on his videos and his descriptions. Maybe put something like Sponsored By: freewidgets.com. That way he increases his revenue and people get traffic from someone that gets 100,000+ views per video. Even if the traffic is untargeted it doesn't matter in certain niches because there still can be conversions.
