Hi Warriors,

I am going to try solo ads for the 1st time.... so please rectify me if I wrong in any way.

Ques1) I want to buy traffic to my Squeeze page from some solo ad (click) providers but are those traffic(s) targeted traffic?

For ex. if I want weight loss immediately after pregnancy related traffic then do click providers provide that good quality traffic ?

Ques2) Now suppose I am going to send 50 clicks to a squeeze page of someone else, then how will I know that his squeeze page have received 50 clicks or this amt. of clicks only from me?

Thank you
Please rectify me if my concepts are wrong in any way.

  • Hi

For question #1, you need to find solo ad provider that has a email list of pregnant women that want to lose weight.

Before you buy from a solo ad provider, try opting into his list and see what type of emails he normally send.

Question #2, there are various click tracker tools which can use to track clicks.

    Hope that helps

    • Hi,
      Thank you for the response.
  • I would rather take the money that you are going to spend and use it to get traffic from a pay per click company like Google and Yahoo.

If you are going to use solo ads, I would send them an offer of yours that can bank you commissions or an income right away. I don't want them to sign up to my newsletter too when they are already on the list that you just paid for.

You should also employ free techniques to get free traffic to your squeeze page.

Do it one at a time and seek the results each time.

    • Thank you for the reply...
PPC is good but I am learning one at a time....

I want to learn solo ads 1st then move to PPC.

And I think solo ads will be cheaper and easier for me than PPC.
  • For the first question, you can use directory of ezines to find solo ads specific to that niche.

For the second question you can use a redirect to track clicks like pretty link plugin which is free if you have a wordpress blog you can install it to track clicks. So you redirect the pretty link to the person's URL to track the number of clicks.

    • Hi Alex,
Can you tell how to find such directories.

And I will email my Mail chimp subscribers.... so that method wont work but anyway good idea.
    • This is a really good idea, I like it. I am going to start using it for my self so I can buy multiple solo ads at once. It is the small things that help a great deal! Thank you very much.

As for the original poster, You need to use the small things, like the resource the guy said above. There is not really any software to track etc. You need to use stuff like pretty links etc. You use what you can, so you don't spend thousands of dollars!
  • My approach to question #1 is: use Leadserve or a similar Co-Reg lead source for something that specific. I usually pay around 50 cents per lead and since it is CPL (Cost Per Lead), you are only getting those that are interested in your offer to begin with.

As for Question #2: I use Prosper202 which is free and does a really good job tracking the clicks, referrers, duplicate IP's, etc.

You can PM me if you need help getting Prosper 202 setup.

    Hope this helps
  • For question 1 have you tried some big sites in your niche with email optins to ask them if they're interested?
For question 2 pretty link lite will do just fine to track the clicks. i did a video recently on how to use it How to cloak your affiliate links for free - YouTube
