What Membership Script To Use?

Alright guys

I am looking to set up a membership site and I am looking for some recommendations please. I am currently looking for ones that don't realy just on the wordpress platform because I have heard that wordpress does have many security issues.

I am looking for scripts that allow me to accept payments from paypal, debit card, jvzoo, clickbank just to name a few

    DAP is great and I use it on a few sites, but the one I use the most now is FusionHQ Internet Business Platform

    Since you do not want to rely on just WordPress platform, I would suggest you take a look at aMember Pro.

    I used DAP with Optimize press and that works very well for me. OP to build the site and DAP to secure the site.

    One of DAP's greatest strengths is the flexibility of using it as a plugin in WP or installed like a traditional web script and run from an admin directory like Amember.

    DAP integrates with damn near everything (like SES for enhanced "welcome" deliverability for new members and all the major affiliate platforms) and once you settle into doing things the DAP way, you'll be able to implement ideas very quickly with it.

    I just mailed my list about InstaMember today, which is a cool new WP plugin... but you have a very specific NON-WP criterion in your original request.

    I second aMember. However, its true power comes when you're able to mod it for your purposes (knowledge of PHP comes greatly in handy).

      I'm looking into settin up a membership site as well, and came across S2Member. s2Member® | s2Member® Framework (not an affiliate link)

      It's a free Wordpress plug in. It looks like it has all of the basic tools needed to set up a membership site. I saw that it was also on Optimize Press' list of recommended programs for membership sites, but I'm curious if anyone here has had any experience using it?

    Same here I use DAP. I combine DAP+OP & EVP2. Match made in heaven if you ask me. Plus DAP's support is impeccable. Ravi & Veena are awesome!

    The best features which I love about DAP has to be the drip feed content feature and the sneak peak reveal feature. This latter I'm currently testing with list building and driving more non-members of my products to my sales page.
