I would say it depends on what niche you are choosing between adwords/adsense vs. an established domain.

Depends on your marketing plan. If you want to create an authority site then yeah, a developed site might be better.

But in the case of type-in traffic, or Google sniping, then I'd stick with affiliate offers and AdSense.

It all depends on what you niche you set your eye's on, for me adsense is not really a income , i have only been on this forum for over a week ,help that i have recieved from this forum traffic wise made me start a hosting review site and already made $500 , each $100 commissions,

i really think adsense is alot of hard work compared to having your own product site or a developed site, Offering a service like seo, article writing, submissions etc..

i have learned if you set a goal, anyone can reach it

My vote goes to developed site, but it may be a personal thing - I've had little success with Adsense and affiliate marketing in the past and found it to be a lot of tedious work for a relatively small return.

I also find it easier to stay motivated when I have a nicely developed, branded site.

If you have any money to invest, either outsource your own ebook! get a good sales page , make a wso in this forum , then flip the site on sitepoint!
or promote some clickbank products through article marketing,

i am creating my own ebook as we speak , like i said learn from this forum i been on here two weeks just about , (i was in prison for 18 months) hard to get a job with a record! i now have my own website ( i'm in the process of creating another 3) and i have just about finished my own ebook which will be on sale soon

do some research around the forum best place to get ideas from!
