Damn. I was going to split-test Google Checkout with Paypal.

I realized there's this other thing called 'Google Wallet'. Is anyone using this to sell digital goods? Is it any good?

    Google has a bad habit of jumping into things then dumping it before it has a chance to succeed or fail, when it comes to google it can be a lot better to just wait and see...

    I know there was a lot of talk over the last few months about how popular G+ was going to become there were even several big WSO products out there talking about how much money you could make with G+ LOL, wonder how that worked out for those sellers...

      Google both starts up and abandons things all the time. It makes me smile ironically, a little, when you see people saying "I know this is going to be great and secure because it's owned by Google". :p :rolleyes:

      Google Checkout, admittedly, has been running for many years and they're giving plenty of notice of its withdrawal.

      Have you looked at 2Checkout, Snowy (can take PayPal from customers without using your own PayPal account to collect from 2Checkout)? Don't know anything about Google Wallet.

    If you have a play.google account as a publisher and want to sell products you need a google wallet.

    Whatever payment system they come up with I am sure they will make it easy for people who have the discontinued system to transfer to the new system.

    People bash google but they do give a lot for free and if you play by their rules they have lots of ways for you to make money.

    I hope they don't ever do that to Google Voice.. or if they do I hope we can buy our #.. never thought about it but it has become my main business number.. as well as personal..
