Contacting Potential Sponsors

I am contacting trucking companies and truck driving schools to become sponsors or advertising on my site. As you can tell I'm not very good with my grammar but I'm Improving it.

My question is what are some key points I should make when I email these companies? What works best when trying to get sponsors.

I have a big social media following in the trucking Industry, and I receive 500 to 1000 visitors per day to my site. Thanks warriors you always been so helpful in the past.

    Emails are nice - but you NEED to follow up that email with a phone call! Keep calling until you get in contact with the person who makes decisions.

    But it's a sales transaction. Do an analysis of what they need, show them how you can fulfill that need, ask for their business. Ask for referrals.

    The main thing is action - get on it - don't make 1 call a day, make 10 - make 100. Get your name/business out there. Worry about grammar and other stuff later - The greatest grammar in the world won't matter if you don't have any customers.
