How to get out of the Spam box

Hey guys,

So I have a nice list of about 188k but my emails seem to be going to spam I was curious about any info that can help me move out of spam and into the inbox. This was the email that I sent today. I didn't include the aff links bc I don't want to spam the forum I am looking for help.

Thanks

Hey how's it going? If you're anything like me, when I was first learning about internet marketing, you most likely feel overwhelmed or maybe don't have all the tools to get going. Well hopefully I can help you out a bit. I haven't run across any extremely good training material yet but I found this company that is giving away a TON of stuff.

Granted it's a raffle style winning but they are limiting the number of entries to only 1000 people. So your chances of winning are pretty high. If you're interested click on the link below and simply enter an email to enter the raffle.

Samsung Galaxy S 4

iPhone 5

iPad mini

MacBook Pro

The cool thing is with anyone of these you could get started with IM or if you already have one you could put it up on eBay for some extra cash.

Justin, I hate to tell you this, but that email screams 'spam.'

Do a quick search for 'spam score checker' and you'll find lots of resources that will give you a list of elements in your email that are adding up to put you in the spam folder.

I also noticed that your sig was replaced by one of the mods. Was the subject of your email also the subject of your sig?

No I was promoting pure leverage and had a site with video instructions on how to be successful and I guess the mods didnt like that & now I can't change it.

Didn't even think about googling that so thanks for the advice

So I just did a spam check and this was the results i got

    MQS Score: 72 of 100
SPAM: BODY: Message only has text/html MIME parts (-17)
SPAM: HTML-only message, but there is no HTML tag (-11)

Can anyone tell me what exactly I need to do to increase it?
    Thanks

Sounds like whatever software/service you use needs to fix the headers sent out, or you need to figure out how to fix your formatting.

I'd start with the support people for your service, and ask them what needs to be changed.

You might also want to try a few more of the checkers, because I would wager that your content is triggering a few filters as well. It matches the content of both CPA spam offers and some phishing schemes.

Also try and replace words like raffle, winning, chance as they raise spam flags quickly. Just use good synonyms that aren't as common and they really make a difference.

You just have so many spam keywords in that email. There isn't much you can do besides take out some of them without changing the meaning of the email.

Why not build a list of subscribers that actually want to hear from you and make effort to keep you out of their spam folders?

You could also write a short article giving a lesson to your readers before sending them to your offer.

This way your message will give them information and guidance; it won't be merely promotional.
