Clickbank Email List Building

Is there any way to have all of the people who purchased a product on Clickbank automatically added to a list in Aweber?

I am an affiliate not a vendor.

No, only vendors can do that.

There isn't even a way to know who they are, nowadays, as an affiliate, let alone to have them added to a list. Their details are no longer provided to affiliates. You can incentivize your subscribers/visitors in various ways, to notify you themselves that they've bought on your recommendation, of course ... but that's another subject.

You can do this via Clickbank's IPN.

You can't go back in time to add people - however, new people can be added to lists via IPN.

There are scripts out there than can do it/be modified to do so.

**Unless clickbank changed their IPN services** Six months ago - it was definitely possible.

You should become a vendor it's so easy and anyone can write a sales letter and add some terms and conditions to a website. If you create a product you will build your list and watch other people do all of the work..

As others have mentioned there is definitely no way to do this as an affiliate. But this is exactly why you should first be sending people to an optin page on your own website and then forwarding them over to the Clickbank product. Unfortunately though this will still only give you a list of all people, not just buyers. If you want to know just the buyers then offer some type of bonus for those who purchase through your link and have it so they must submit their details and receipt # into an aweber form to receive their bonuses.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think a product called CB List Automator does this...or actually it makes it possible to verify a customer's receipt number if they want to collect a bonus/be opted in to a list (your buyer's list)...it automates the process and prevents people from entering in a fake receipt number to collect the bonus/opt-in.

The reason I would like to build the list only after they buy something is because the traffic is coming from really long tail keywords like "product name pdf download online".

I just want to get them to the sales page as soon as possible and then sell more to them after they purchase whatever they are looking for.

Yeah, well the only way you'll do this is by sending them to an optin offer first. Collect their email and send them over to the salespage. That list won't just have buyers on it but it's the best you can do with Clickbank. No other way to get the buyers email. But it's the same with most affiliate programs out there. They don't give you access to the buyers details nor should they really. That's one of the downsides of being an affiliate. If you just direct link to the offer then your traffic can only ever be used once. That's why you MUST build a list before sending them over.

Are you sure Will? I had it set up where I was an affiliate and I could capture emails from buyers via the IPN. It was about 6 months ago - so, I might be fuzzy on the details...but I'm about 95% sure that you can get buyer's emails as an affiliate.

A little bit of modding of this script: http://www.cblistautomator.com/ was what I did.

I think you must have been pulling the data as a vendor. As an affiliate ClickBank's Instant Notification Service doesn't provide the affiliate with the customer name or email address.

Several years ago it was possible as an affiliate to get the customer email, but ClickBank changed that functionality.

Ok. Maybe I am getting it mixed up. Appreciate it!

I promote most of my clickbank products in my email follow up sequence after they subscribe to my list. I really think this is the best way to go only because you can continue to follow up and promote to them in the future. So get a squeeze page and promote your clickbank in the follow up. You will quickly see its like printing money every time you send an email. Hope this helps...
