INTERNET MARKETING

Hi,I am a fan of this site ; http://www.upworthy.com/ just for the way it works - Anybody got an ideas about the plungins to get the same effect? and who could put them together? someone who understands marketing.....

Site got 6 million visitors a month in its 6th month.....

That's a totally custom programmed site, you would take years to put together a collection of plugins and never get more than close.

They do have a lot of 'Likes'.

It just looks like a custom programmed site to me. Not everything these days is built with Wordpress or even plugins. I would think a good php programmer could build you a replica site quite easily.

I think that a wordpress site that is close to that effect to that is the WP Social Press Theme. It looks like some of the posts on that site are RSS feeds so they update automatically. If you paid someone to program a site like that it would cost a good amount, although I think that they would be able to make it without many problems. I do offer the WP Social Press Theme on my site along with extra plugins.

Not WP its custom code. Nothing special going on there either. Im 100%% sure I could duplicate without difficult (this is not an offer to do it for you by the way just saying its no big deal)

As a side note it astonishes me (perhaps more so because Im a developer) how people just automatically assume everything is WP or done with PlugIns. Believe it or not there are still one our two (million) skilled programmers out there who write there own stuff
