OptimizePress V2.0 Sneak Preview

Looks like the guys at OptimizePress have released a sneak peek of the new version of their popular squeeze page building software.

It's great to see the theme will be responsive to mobile and tablets. What does everyone think of the new features?

Wow the new version looks awesome, I've been using optimizepress for a long time now and it is one of the best themes I have come across.

I's only a shame that you have to pay a premium as an existing customer to upgrade to 2.0

Total shame considering I bought it two days ago.

We should give James and his team credit for putting such an amazing effort into improving the theme with such a passionate eye. We don't ask Apple or Samsung for a free upgrade whenever they have a new iteration of their phones released, why are we expecting a free upgrade on a totally new theme?

OptimizePress 2.0 is going to redefine the space just like version 1 did. Let's applause this guy and support such innovative spirit by not demanding free upgrades like many are, instead open our wallets with appreciation.

Looks really good. Anyone know how much it is going to be? I know existsing cutomers will get a discount, but I wonder how much he will charge.

When I got the email, I got my credit card out. But it is not for sale (to me, anyway), yet.

In the video, there was a subtle mentioning of "new themes every month". That's not sustainable with one-time pricing.

I'm guessing that OP 2.0 will have some type of continuity option built into it for those that want fresh themes on a monthly basis.

Let's see what happens. It's definitely a good looking theme.

Per James' comments in the blog post "The new OptimizePress is a completely new product, so it’s not an “upgrade” or “update” of OP1. We will of course have a special discount for our existing customers which we’ll let you know about closer to our launch."

I've been using OptimizePress since 2010 and have got
more than my money's worth from OP1.

OptimizePress 2.0 looks like a major improvement because
of the responsive pages, new designs and the ability to use
OP2 as a plugin rather than just a theme.

I've been happy with my experience of OptimizePress to date
and I'm sure that James Dyson will look after current customers
        with a special deal.

        Dedicated to mutual success,

        Shaun

It looks like their trying to catch up to Skeleton, Gantry, inFocus and the entire collection over at Elegant Themes. I'll have to come back to see how the Drag and Drop turns out, though I wasn't fond of it when I tried Weebly.

Looks great! OP1 has been brilliant for me. Let's hope OP2 will be even better, and more responsive. There are some customizations that U could not do in OP1 that i hope will be incorporated in the new one.... can't wait!

I have not had a chance to really look at the demo but at first glance it seems like "me too" or did I miss something?

When in July is it coming? I need a landing page now so I'm not sure whether I can afford to wait or not.

Hey guys, I just came across OptimizePress and gotta say it looks awesome. How does it work (sorry not super tech savvy)? Does it work with WordPress? Like you just install it somehow? Is it a software, plugin, etc?

    Thanks!

New themes released may be a game changer if that is true depending on what that means.

I always thought OP was kind of low tech. Im actually surprised there isnt a real drag and drop page builder. Also its a theme not a plugin. A plugin would be better since you could use it with any theme then without doing any extra work.

Personally I think people just buy OP because 'everyone else does'

You know I wrote several drag and drop systems, page builders, facebook builders, etc. I dont think a drag and drop WP editor would be to difficult. I cant believe that trying to remember 'short codes' is easy for beginners. Or that going through all that nonsense to make it work with a different theme is easy for beginners (since its a theme and not a plug in like it should be)
