Hi,
I bought healthypointers.com but im worries about something. since the domain basically says that the website will give you health pointers (tips) what if something on my site is not "healthy" and they try and sue me. I would try and make sure everything on my site is correct but everyone has their own opinion. Is that a possibility? I remember hearing about vitamin water being sued because there was actually no vitamins in it or something. I plan on buying a privacy policy and terms and conditions from termsfeed but would that protect me enough? Should this be a real concern or not?
Thanks

If everyone got sued for giving false info on the Internet - holy crap!

Have a disclaimer saying you believe this info to be true, but you're not a dr/scientist/rocket man - whatever.

I'm not a lawyer - but 98% of the Internet is just people's opinions.

Heck...like 70% of science/medicine isn't cold hard facts...doctors and the likes change their minds all the time.

Actually, now that I think about it.

I did produce an eBook on fitness and I was worried about the same think you are. I spoke to a lawyer about it.

He said that I needed to have a disclaimer saying how they used the information was up to them, that I was not to be held liable for any injuries that may occur. Their actions were their choice.

I also had to be as honest as possible. I couldn't be like, pick up a knife, stab yourself with it. I had to have "good intent"

Always use a Disclaimer page basically stating that the articles are for information purposes only and not meant as recommendation to treat or cure any sickness. If you are worried, you can put a link to your Disclaimer page at the end of each article that may pose a problem.

Use a Disclaimer Page/Preamble and show good intentions. If done properly, you Should not have many problems. Of course, there are no guarantees. Read Dr. Oz sued over At-Home remedy.

    Good Luck and God Bless,
