Unless you're a product creator, I will suggest you to be an affiliate and promote some quality stuff to your list for commissions. you can grab some PLR products from the top clubs.

You can also JV with other marketers to promote their products via Jv notify pro or Jv zoo. check out clickbank if it suites what you're searching for.

Go to clickbank and check out the products listed there. Otherwise, you can look into the signatures of WF users here (such as in mine, shameless promotion).

Another good way to get a product is to invest in good quality PLR, then totally re-brand this and make it into a new product, set up a sales page, install your paybutton, Aweber link and drive traffic to the sales page-Clickbank is another source of products, but making your own from PLR means you get to keep 100% of the sales.

Amazon is a great place for newbies to start. Lots of top notch products on a site that consumers trust so the sale is easier than trying to sell xxxx from unknown affiliate company.

@theOP: you need to pick a niche.

Pick one that has a hungry market. Try to pick one that isn't crowded already, so that you can stand out.

Then go look for a good product.

What do you mean by "email marketing"? If you mean sending random, spam emails to a purchased list of fake emails, then forget it.

If you mean promoting a product to a list you've built, then first you need to decide which niche interests you, THEN find the affiliate product. You will need to build your list before you can mail it.

Rubbish. If you've built up a legitimate list of 10m people yourself, then you wouldn't be here asking what to promote to them.

Depends on your niche. It might have lots of related products or very few.

Just make an account at Clickbank.com and look through their marketplace of products.

First of all you have to understand what your audience is buying online. Make a marketing research. Try to discover who your visitors are, the keywords that lead them to your website, and all the details you can discover about your subscribers.

Alexa.com shows you the type of visitors your website is attracting, and if you have installed Google Analytics you will see which keywords attracted those who visited your website.

You have to know what these people could buy before looking for a product.

When you will understand what your audience wants to buy, be very careful with the products you will choose.

Look for good products that are selling and are trusted. If you will promote a product that will disappear tomorrow, all your marketing efforts will be lost. You have to find products that you will be able to sell for years without problems. Perhaps later you can promote new products, but this is risky. You don't know what you will have to deal with, and if these products will remain online for long.

Have you ever thought about "Resell Rights" products? It is also one popular way to sell products online, but there is some work to be done which include:-
