Hi,

Do you know where I can get free or cheap Royalty Free Music for YouTube video production? Any favorites? BTW, I know that YouTube has some music itself but that doesn't seem to solve my problem...

Thank you,

Hey, I found another thread about Royalty Free Music. A lot of suggestions here - http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-resource.html

    • Does Royalty Free mean that we can use it anyway we want without owing anything to Anybody?

Yes. Royalty free could mean either that it is free to use or that it is free to use after you have paid for it. Which means that for the latter, you can do whatever you like with it. Make sure to read the license and/or terms of use before you use it.
        All the best!

          Deji,

What you just said doesn't make any sense to me. In one sentence you said "you can do whatever you like with it" and in the next sentence you said "Make sure to read the license and/or terms of use before you use it." If you can do whatever you want with it, why are there terms and conditions?

Here is my advice: Always consult the license first and don't assume that you can do anything with a royalty-free product.

All royalty-free means is that there are not royalties on a per use basis - you pay for the initial license and don't have to pay again. However-

The terms of a license are set by the distributor and can vary greatly from product to product. "Royalty-free" does not mean you can do whatever you want with the product you purchased. There are usually restrictions, sometimes many, to a royalty-free license.

By all means read the fine print before you slap down your money!

          Good luck to you,

          Steve
