Amazon affiliate and amazon store?

I'm a little suspicious of making a living (about $4000-5000 or so) with amazon affiliate.

Is it that creating amazon store and linking with amazon products in amazon, is a sort of amazon affiliate promotion,right?

    Are you talking about an a-store? An a-store is essentially just a big widget so you need original content on your site to drive traffic as there are way too many stores out there. Therefore, an a-store is just like an easy way to display lots of products, but is known to have a poor conversion rate compared to in-text links.
