Hello warriors

I've recently bought optimize press

and the tutorials are just not cutting it for me.

Can someone please tell me what are the essential steps to add a sales page to your wordpress?

Thanks all

Andy

First you pick your sales page template from the options listed, then you modify it from there. Make sure when you are picking options that you are picking from the "Sales Page" options instead of the "Squeez Page" options.

I made that mistake when I first installed it and I couldn't figure out why my changes were not showing.

Go through EVERY tutorial and you'll be fine.

I have had optimize press for awhile and it took me awhile to learn it. I still have to do some research every time I want to do something new. I am looking forward to the new Optimize Press 2.0. I think it is going to be much easier and faster to get things done.

A lot of times I end up just using an HTML template with Kompozer. It's usually faster for me.

Or you can do it by inserting the HTML code into the template page and using it by creating a new page inside WP. You can find many tutorials about using custom templates inside your WP installation.

Hey, just continue using optimize press. Don't go back to using a 'normal' wordpress theme. Just go along with the main body and headlines for optimize press first. From there on, slowly experiment. It's worth it... I have it. If you have any other questions, you can PM me.

I've honestly had better success using HTML/CSS squeeze pages and just uploading them to my server in a directory called 'free'

You could also go to Fiverr and spend just $5 for a responsive squeeze page that you can upload to your server. If you are spending too much time on OptimizePress then this might be your best option.

OptimizePress is a pretty easy to use software if you ask me. Just choose the sales page template you want and add your content. Then hit publish. Done
