To Those Who Are Struggling...

Hey Warriors,

I read an awesome post by Willie Crawford earlier and the reason I thought it was awesome is because when you are trying to make money online it is VERY easy to over complicate things.

So I thought I would give you some pointers if you are sat there reading through the posts on the Warrior forum and thinking "Where the hell do I start?"

Here is a good plan:

First thing you need is something to sell. (I know really smart!)

Just get started.

Open up a notepad on your computer now and think about what to sell.
Have you a skill or a service you can offer?

Article Writing, Video Creation, Sales Copy, Voice Overs, Graphics, SEO etc...
Do you want to be an affiliate?

Head over to Clickbank and pick a product that is something that matches one of your interests.

Can you play an instrument?

Are you into gaming?

Are you a fitness fanatic?

OR...

If you are looking to get fitter, learn an instrument, you can pick a product and actually buy it to use it!

Let's say you are using Clickbank.

Easiest way to pick a product:

Check a section of interest and read through the top gravity products sales letters.

The question you need to ask yourself:

"Would you buy the product?"

Place yourself in the customer's shoes.

Would you buy it?

I KNOW gravity is not an indicator of how well a product converts.

What we are interested with here is getting started.

Pick a product and then head over to http://www.blogger.com or http://www.weebly.com and if you can create your own self hosted site even better.

Now actually go and buy the product you have picked.

You are going to use it.

For 7 days you are going to write a post a day on your blog centred around keywords.

A good one to start with is the product name.

Then the top relevant key phrases. You can use the Google adwords keyword tool to get you started:

http://adwords.google.com/o/KeywordTool

Remember you don't need 100's of keywords yet.

NOTE: DON'T GET CAUGHT ON A SPEED BUMP OF RESEARCH

Yes you need to research BUT you KNOW people are looking to lose weight, you know people are looking to play guitar etc...

Just pick 10.

Now use the product and write a blog post about your experience.

Has it helped you?

Good points, bad points, what could be improved?

Now get involved in the community - join Google + and join some communities that are into playing the guitar for instance.

Update with your blog post daily to Google + and the community.

Join some of the top forums.

Type in "[yourniche] forums]"

Include a link to your blog in your signature link and don't spam but join in with the discussions.

Use YouTube and make a video showing what you have learnt - know how to play a song on the guitar - upload it with a link to your blog.

Syndicate your articles with Ezine articles and find some top sites and ask to guest post.

Use slideshare and make a slide show with your article.

Do this EVERY day for 7 days - just keep on asking:

"If I were looking for xyz where would I go online?"

Update your blog EVERY day and make the most of each post by social bookmarking, syndicating the content and making slides and YouTube videos.

Keep on going.

You should see sales within 7 days and if not carry on until you have had 1000 visits to your blog.

If nothing then, rinse and repeat with another niche.

When you do get sales - see which article, video, content is making sales and use the keywords more.

Get out there and get started right now and give it 7 days of hard work.

Want faster results?

Write 5 articles a day instead of 1. Keep on going.

You can learn, and build as you go along but you will learn far more by DOING.

Hope this helps,

All the best,
Chris Jones

P.S How do I know this works? I started in exactly the same way and STILL use that strategy now!

Thanks for the excellent post. Often we become creatures of habit. When those habits aren't making our life or business better, its time to create new habits!

      Right, great advice!
I remember Peter Drucker said "always be asking yourself is this motion or progress."
I can say for a fact that Motion feels better sometimes, and often masquerades as progress.

    Excellent advice.

Keeping things simple and doing consistant daily action -- is the key to success. To even further increase your chances of succeeding is aim your daily actions into creating

    An Email List

Once you have a list -- then you don't have to rely on Google as much, since you have a list of highly engaged users at the push of a button.

Thats a excellent post Chris. Planning and executing it quickly is the basics of IM and maximum IMer fails to do so. You nailed it all.

However, i am lacking in one field and would like o improve on that. Can anybody help me with video creation or point in the right direction.
