Hello everyone.I've been using paid solo ads for about a month I've paid about$100to use these. paid solo ad safelists with absolutely no results.I've started then using free safelists and I've had about 2 leads. The free solo ads take more time and effort but the results are obvious..I'm going to try them again for the next month to see what happens .please let me know if anyone knows any good free safelists that show results out there let me know please.Thank you

Safelists have been around for a very long time, and they are not the same as solo ads. A safelist is essentially a list of users who agree to receive emails from other members in exchange for being able to send them. In some cases, you can pay instead of receiving email.

The problem with a safelist is that all of the members are there so they can email others.
Solo ads are, presumably, sent to lists where the members opted in out of real interest in the subject. Safelists are similar to traffic exchanges in this way. Both have notoriously low conversion rates. On the other hand, they are free and you might be able to get a few opt-ins to your own list. Probably not many sales though.

If you want to find safelists, you can find lots of them by searching on Google.

As was already pointed out, the problem with a lot of this free advertising
is that the only people who read the ads are people checking to see if their
      ad ran.

Many web hosts also prohibit using a domain hosted on their servers in
safelists promotions. So, be sure to check you hosts terms of service.

It will be interesting to see your results, but generally.... I tend to believe that you get what you pay for.

Many autoresponder services may also prohibit the use of safelist, in
certain ways. For example, this blurb from Aweber's TOS... is subject
    to interpretation:

    http://www.aweber.com/service-agreement.htm

"Importing or in any way using purchased leads with an AWeber account is strictly prohibited. If you paid money or in any way purchased a group of pre-existing leads these may not be used with AWeber. This includes co-registration services, "safe lists" or any type of free leads given to you. Only people that have specifically requested information directly from you may be emailed thru AWeber.

Somewhat different topic, but I just wanted you to be aware that some
service providers will shut you down for using safelists.

For example, I know of web hosts that have prohibited it just because of
the sheer volume of email that you can get... but I haven't looked at that
closely in a long time since I don't use safelists.
