What can you say about grammarly.com

I am not good in writing in english, so its really hard for me to write content in my website, and i know its essential in the online business. I had so many ideas on my mind but i can't write it properly. A friend of mine told me that i can't create content in my language and use google translate, then go to grammarly.com so they can proof read it. This is my question what can you say about that site? is it really reliable?. Thank you for your honest opinion.

I'd say it's useful only up to a point. NOTHING can replace a real human's eyes on written content. On the other hand, if you're looking for something that MIGHT catch something that your standard text editor <cough, MS Word, cough> did not, go for it.

On a personal sidenote: I actually use Ginger for this sort of thing. It's a nifty little app that can monitor and update the content you are writing on the web, and also in your text editor. It's user-friendly and it seems to be updated quite often. Just Google "Ginger grammer "and you should a get a top link to the official site.

Just remember, neither of these apps will catch certain errors, so if in doubt, read your content a few times before committing it.

If any professional writers want to chime in with an app they use, I'd love to see what other options there are, free and $$$.
