Hey guys

I've been working on my product now for the past 7 months - along with learning A LOT of different skills and was going to simply just start promoting it this month.

But I've heard a lot of hype about Product Launches but have no idea where to start or how to do them! I am willing to put in however many months it takes to build relationships with affiliates and create pre-sell content.

I just don't know the structure of how to do any of it, if that makes sense!

Please can someone help me!

Thanks in advance.

Zak

      Hey Zak,

I would start by getting some testimonials ready for your sales. page. Go over to the JV section and make a post asking for 5 people to review and test your product. You can as for people with 100+ post or whatever criteria you want to make.

If its a hot niche, you can even find some people welling to run the launch for you with a shared revenue deal.

There are some good product out there that give you a good blueprint to product launches.

      Good luck....

    Thanks for the response guys.

Bot Products, the product is access to a monthly membership program in the dating niche - a passion of mine - nothing like this has ever been made before in this industry.

And Richard, what products would you recommend?

Either Frank Kern's Mass Control 2 or Jeff Walker's latest version of the Product Launch Formula come to mind immediately, and either would be great for someone new to product launches (although they are very different from each other and you should only follow one or the other).

I think jason fladlien also has a similar product as well. Depending on the budget involved.

My first tip would be to not spend 7 months on one product. If it flops, you have wasted a heap of time. If you think you are on to a winning wicket then get something small out there and make sure people are as receptive to this type of information as you think they will be. If they are then continue on with the rest.

When I hear "nothing like this has ever been made before" it always worries me. There are plenty of things that haven't been made before and that's not to say it's because no one has thought of them. It's more likely because others have done it before and found it to be non-profitable. So make sure you do your research before hand. Competition is good because it means something has worked for others before. No competition is always a little scary because 9/10 times it means you have stumbled across something others have already tried but could not monetize.

There are some free great posts here, not going to go and search since you can do it. One comes to mind where the guy just blows me away with the information he gave out.

You can find everything you need right here on product launches and I would start here before you go spending 99 dollars on a program.

Please remember as this is what I drive to my students... Do not expect or want to make money on your upfront product. Expect it to get you a sizeable list you can use later.

Here is how I do it.
I research to find something hot I can make better and have better knowledge about.
I plan my main product, my two bonuses, my unannounced bonus.

I then think of my two oto's, that is all i use, with one downsell.

I have a third oto on the burner to send to the list after the jv's make there money.

I have a contest for the launch. If its warriors, then top prize is usually about 175.00 to 200.00 an outside launch I have did as much as 5 grand.

I pay 100 percent on main. 75 percent on first oto and 50 percent on second oto. This will usually get me to pay the contest fees and all the freelancers and any other costs assoiciated with the launch.

I have made a thousand or more emails now and will send that third oto out for the profit as well as email them in the future with other offers.

Hey, I've arrived late to the game in terms of product launches and havent been able to get a hold of Mass Control or Product Launch Formula as yet since they're rarely open for sale.

However, I've still learned HEAPS from Jeff and Frank just from their blogs and youtube videos.

One very important factor which I think you might like to think about is that it's usually a good idea to build a relationship with an audience and then ASK them what kind of product they need, what are they struggling with etc... Then develop a product that meets the needs of your audience.

I've created three info products myself recently. The first two, in the photography niche in which I created the kind of product that I would have bought myself... The first is an ebook and the second is a video course. Neither have sold a single copy because I created the product first before asking my audience what they wanted.

The third product I created was in the dating niche, in which I have an email list already... After soaking in as much as I could from frank and jeff, I went about surveying my list to find out the kind of thing they would be interested in - and then I created my product. I sold it for 4 days only (ending, like right now actually) and sold 30 copies of a 40 page ebook, for $20 each. Not huge, but now I have some great stats to show to potential affiliates when I launch it on clickbank. My internal launch got an EPC of around $1, which is pretty decent as far as I can tell and I achieved it by giving people what they told me they wanted

If you've already spend 7 months creating your product then youre probably already pot committed. In which case my advice would be to survey your audience (start building it now if you havent got one) and then when they tell you the kinds of struggles they are having, solve these problems for them with some additional bonuses when they sign up to your main membership site.

  • It is all about how many affiliates promote for you. You could have the best product in the world and without affiliates you will fail. Focus on recruiting affiliates. Then focus on helping them succeed.

Thanks for the response guys - Resale Rights Ninja, that was the type of response I was looking for.

And WillR, I meant to say that my U.S.P. is what makes me completely different to my competition but I have just followed the blueprint of my competitors and made it a lot better.

And I have created 2 other products (ebooks) - that have had a really good response so far.

One more question, would it be wrong for me to just start promoting my squeeze page - with the sales page live and at the same time recruit affiliates or should I do a proper launch were I build anticipation before going live?

    What difference does it make?

This is something to be careful of.

I frequently find niches that no one seems to be doing or have ideas for products or other things and see that no one else appears to have done it.

First thought is always that I've stumbled onto a winning idea that no one else has though of but a bit more research usually tells me that it's not been doing for a reason, usually because no one wants it, it doesn't work, there's no money to be made etc.

Rarely will I ever actually have a unique idea that no one else is doing that could actually be profitable.

If you have a product coming out in the future I would recommend you get it on JVNotifyPro so you can let their readers know about it.

Pretty much launching a project is the same across the board. If you have a great product bonuses at least a couple products for the funnel, that is always the first part.

The rest learning jvzoo or warriorplus setup is the next.

The most important is the jv's.

I've have taken products from people here that already ran a wso and made less than 10 sales and did over a 100 200 300 ect.

If we could all just be able to and affort to hire a jvmanager we would be so much better off.
