Which of these wordpress themes for a modern AUTHORITY review site?

Hey guys,
Currently working on a new review authority for a niche I am interested in. I am now at the design stage and going to buy a nice magazine theme from themeforest to start with. I have narrowed it down to two, but undecided at the moment, any opinions on which one to go for?

Option 3 - Reader - http://themeforest.net/item/reader-s...review/4384947

They all have review systems integrated and a bunch of features, which is the main requirement.

Which one would you go for?

    IMHO building your own site is the way to go. I already did what you're trying to do. When I built my own site I would make 50 cents per visitor on average. When I used a WordPress blog I made less than ten cents.

      You've confused me - I am building my own site, I am asking which of those themes is the best to buy to use on the site I am building....

      I have seen a couple of people recommend the pro review theme, but in my opinion it looks very bad... So no thanks.

    A GOOD wordpress template provides you with a professional looking website very quickly that you can customize further if you have the skills. Using Wordpress or not using Wordpress makes absolutely no difference to the amount of money you make....

      That's true since you can make WP look like anything you want. The point is that creating your own template/design to suit your needs is much more powerful than using what everyone else is using.

    I was just sharing my experience of the time I built a review site with a custom design (with many features such as star ratings, e-mail list collection and so on) and the time I used a WP theme. The custom design outperformed WP by 500%.

    You can use proreviewtheme and customize it to your needs if you don't like it. I don't know of any other good WP themes for review sites, so I hope another member will help you more.

    I appreciate you trying to help, but I do not like the proreviewtheme, in my opinion the other three themes are infinitely nicer and what I am after. I am just asking for opinions on which one is nicest.

      For a review site I would go with something that has less images and more text. Like the socrates theme.

    As you are asking for our opinions I'd say go for the first one. It just seems perfectly suited for what you need without any extensive graphics that distract incoming traffic.
