what things you check before buying banner ad ?

Hello

I am going to buy banner ads in website but I don't know how to analyze website... I know there are some sites like alex.com that tells you some basic info about website ... despite this what are other methods ?

    I would ask the ad space provider for metrics like amount of traffic they are receiving, who their core visitors are, any click through rate info, how far their reach is, etc. Ideally you want to be able to tell if you are going to reach your target market and be able to generate a decent ROI from your ad time and spend.

    I don't know wrote it but there is a great explanation about banner advertising here somewhere on WF if you do a search and do a little digging the person who wrote it was a woman thats all I can remember GL
