Hey Warriors,

I'm doing some reasearch and am curious on what the general consensus is when it comes to consuming content via blog / news / authority style site (not service / software or sales page) what style do you find you prefer

News / Crazy Busy (a lot of stuff going on)
Minimalistic
Tumblr style
Metro
Run of the mill

If you could take a second and answer the poll it would be great ..I'm getting some data together. Could be good for some other folks as well. Looking forward to feedback

Here are some examples

Crazy Stuff all over the place but full of information
Product reviews and prices, software downloads, and tech news - CNET
TechCrunch

This poll only makes sense if WE, online business owners and/or webmasters, are your blog's target audience. If not, it's probably better to hold the poll at forums frequented by your target audience.

Finally: a poll I can answer easily and unambiguously, without even complaining about the options or having loads of reservations and explanations. Personally, I've always far preferred "minimalistic" to your other groups, and I still do. Good luck with your research.

Minimalist is my preferred style for both reading and creating. I'm sure most browsers feel the same way, especially when it comes to advertising. Having ads blinking and rotating everywhere is a big turn off.

But as for the content itself, that's really not important how jam packed it is or not. It's way more important that it's good and I want to read it.

    Thanks

Well, i chose CNET. I like their interface, and they obviously know what they're doing when it comes to marketing.
